He looked across the fields of Oakfield, taking in that scent of hay, pretty soon he'd be home to his wife and child, no more quests, he had finished.

Not half a day ago had Sparrow, the hero of Bowerstone, defeated Lucien. He was finished, finally able to live the live he'd fought so hard to receive.

His steps quickened, he was running, running toward the red bricks of his home, to the loving smile of his wife, to the pitter patter steps of his son.

He could see his wife feeding the chickens, he called her name, he saw her turn around her face shocked which turn into a smile after about a second, she called out towards the house. He kept running towards her, his dog, fable not far behind.

He hopped over the fence, and grabbed his wife, Libby in a hug and planted a kiss on her lips, the door to the house opened, he turned to see his son wide eyed "daddy" he whispered shocked he repeated it again, this time happier "daddy!" and ran towards him as fast as his little legs would go.

Sparrow picked him up and help him up as his arms would let him and spun his child around "I missed you I missed you I missed you" they both chanted. Sparrow put his child down and look towards his wife.

"how long till you go again?" she asked, catching Sparrow off guard.

He smiled "I'm not".

Libby stood still flabbergasted before bursting into tears and hugging him "that's so great to hear" all sparrow could do was smile and return the hug.

After breaking off the hug, Sparrows son, Paddy asked hopefully "you not going"

Sparrow bent down to eye level with paddy rub his nose against his sons and said "no, I'm not leaving".
