Welcome to the second book of The King's Heir.

Enjoy.

As the sun rose over the savannah the animals began their journey to priderock. Rafiki stood at the peak calling to the animals. Simba and Kiara walked over with a light gold cub hanging from the queen's jaws.

Rafiki hugs the king and queen before taking the new heir and rasing her up for the kingdom to see. The cub's brown eyes shined brightly as she pawed at the leaves that flew by. The animals cheered as the sun shined down the new heir.

-O-

"News from thePridelands!"

Kovu looked from Quinn to Katja and nodded his head.

"Kiara has given birth to a daughter." the tannish lioness announced.

Kovu smiled, "A daughter, this take over will be easier than I thought."

Katja nodded before bowing,"Anything else my lord?"

"No, you are dismissed!" Kovu sneered.

Just then two cubs ran in the cave. One has rich brown fur, a black tuff on his head and amber eyes. The other was tannish brown with also amber eyes.

"What are you two doing here?" Kovu snarled.

"There's some lionesses here to see you, father." said the rich brown cub.

Kovu nodded briefly, "Get back to training!" before walking out.

...

Kiara laid on the royal platform when a teenage Haki and a creamy beige cub with orange eyes and a dark brown tuff walked over.

"Hi Auntie Kiara."

Kiara looked from her sleeping cub to her nephews, "Hello Tojo, Haki."

"Hey Auntie Kiara, so what's the princess name?" Tojo asked peering over the light beige lioness' paws.

Kiara smiled and nuzzled her cub, "Kenna. My little beautiful flower."

"I like it." said Tojo.

Kiara nuzzled the small cub, "I do too."
