"Lisa! Stevie!" Carole said as she came into the stables. It was Winter Break, there was no snow and the three girls had made some serious plans. To ride!
"Where's my horse?!" Veronica Di Angelo strode in angrily, "why haven't the stablehands done their job?!"
"Ah. Veronica. I see Garnet isn't tacked up?' Max said as he stepped out of his office.
"Yes Max. I realized that too. It seems like the stablehands haven't done their job. As usual."
"Red is here to help me and help you when you need it. As far as I'm concerned you can tack up Garnet by yourself. I expect you at the trails in ten minutes."
Veronica scoffed and turned on her heel presumably to go find Garnet's tack and Red.
Meanwhile Stevie popped her head over Belle's stall door.
"Hey Carole!" she called, "you seen Lisa anywhere?"
"I think she's in Prancer's stall" replied Carole "you want some hot chocolate?"
Stevie's only answer was a slightly sarcastic "duh!" and to grab one of the cups Carole was holding.
"C'mon let's go find her."
"If we don't find her can I have the rest of the hot chocolate?"
"Stevie! One of those is for Lisa and the coffee is for Red!" was Carole's response.
"Well if we don't find Red can I have the coffee?"
"Stevie let's go!"

Lisa was busy grooming Prancer, who was attached to cross ties in the aisle. She turned as the two other girls walked up.
"Hey guys! I'm just finishing up here!" she said as she led Prancer back into her stall.
"Thanks so much for this Carole!" Lisa said as she happily accepted the hot chocolate.
"Welcome. Let's go find Red."
"My guess would be that he is currently hiding from Veronica" replied Stevie sharing a conspiratorial giggle with her friends.
The three girls headed up to where they guessed that Red would be; the hayloft.
"Hey Red! Thanks for the money for the hot chocolate! I got your coffee, one cream, one sugar?" Carol said as she handed Red the other cup.
"Thanks guys! I owe you one!" Red said happily.
"Hiding from Veronica?" asked Lisa, as the three girls sank down onto haybales.
"Shhhh…her highness is supposed to go out on a private trail ride with Max in five minutes. And she's still looking for me so I can apparently tack up Garnet for her."
"Red?" Max's voice floated up to them a minute later.
"Up here Max" Red said quickly standing up.
"Have you seen Veronica anywhere?"
