Blue eyes
The blue eyes I see looking my way everyday.
The smile that's almost enough to melt the wall of ice around
my heart.
The bravery and compassion that keeps me on the straight
and narrow.
The voice in my head that keeps me from doing the
wrong thing..
I was supposed to kill him, but I left him wounded
On the ground
He was my rival
My best friend
My brother
…I couldn't let him die.
