A/N: This is probably the most pointless oneshot. this is set after Season 3 Episode 16
"Hey, Eric? What do you think of Nate?" I asked as I dropped myself next to him on the kitchen table.
"He's cool... I mean, he is my sister's boyfriend." He said calmly. He didn't notice the pained expression on my face and how hearing about Serena and Nate made my heart ache.
"Why?" He asked as he bit into his omlet.
"Nothing, its just that he's becoming more protective lately..." I told him, drifting into thought.
"With Serena? or... let me guess, you?" he asked. I just looked at him.
"Thought so. Jenny, you can't have feelings for Nate Archibald. I'm not just saying that because he's my sister's boyfriend, but because he'll probably break your heart. You're my best friend and I never want to see you get hurt." he said.
"And yet, he's dating your sister... I mean, you did just say he could break my heart. What makes you think he won't break Serena's?" I asked.
"Good point." he said.
"But tell me, what happened between you and Nate last year? And what's up with you NOW! You've been acting weird all week, ever since Rufus told me that Nate had to walk you home from Eleanor's fashion show?" he said.
I ended up telling him about when he stayed at my old house and how Agnes was turning me into this crazy person and how he had to save me. Our first kiss, the guerilla fashion show, and what happened with Vanessa. How he'd told me off at the Snowflake Ball. Then there was last week, when he had to save me once again from Agne's wrath.
"Wow, looks like everything happens when Agnes is back." he said.
"I know. Eric, do you think its wrong for me to have these feeling for Nate?" i asked him.
"Truthfully, no, not really. He's been your knight in shining armor for a long time now." he said.
"Yeah, but he is Serena's boyfriend. Your sister, MY stepsister. I would never hurt her like that..." I said.
or would I hurt her?.........
