Pokemon Master (X and Y)

After getting his first Pokemon, Calem is sent on a journey to become the strongest Pokemon Master of the Kalos region. There are many challenges that lie ahead, so will he push through and emerge a champion, or will he walk away defeated.

Welcome to my new story about Pokemon. If you haven't already figured it out, this is basically the video game (Pokemon X and Y) but in literature form. I hope you like it and thanks for reading.

Calem woke to the sound of the airplane landing. He was just moving to the Kalos region with his mom who had already gotten there a week earlier to prepare. As the plane slowed down Calem looked out the window to see a huge city filled with cafes, restaurants, and beauty salons. After a couple hours of maneuvering through the city, he finally found the taxi that was supposed to take him to his house inVaniville Town. When he arrived, he was greeted at the door by his mom.

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly and the next thing he new, Calem was waking to the sound of knocking at the door.

"Calem, it's for you. Get ready and come down here." His mom yelled up to him in a very sleepy voice. Calem walked over and looked into the mirror. His black hair was messed up (as always) but he didn't bother to spend much time combing it, he just put on a hat and ran downstairs. In the kitchen his mom was cooking breakfast, and she turned to greet him.

"The neighbors are waiting outside to meet you, why don't you introduce yourself," she said. Outside there were two girls waiting for him. One of them, the one with brown hair, was petting Rhyhorn and calling him the cutest thing ever, while the other was looking through her bag. When he walked out, they both turned to look at him.

"Hello welcome to Vaniville Town," said the girl with blonde hair, "I am Serena and this is Shauna. Professor Sycamore, who lives here in the Kalos region, requested five kids to go on a Pokemon journey and we all were chosen."

"C'mon we're going over to Aquacorde town where we will meet up with the others. Lets go!" she smiled as she said that and then they both ran off. Calem had no idea what he had just gotten into, but he still decided to follow them. If only he knew that by walking out the gate to Aquacorde town, he would be starting the most important adventure of his life.

Yeah this is a pretty short chapter, but its just an introduction. I promise the next chapter will be longer… You have no idea how many times i've said that.
