At the base of Team Beta, Amber Leaf was holding a meeting with the team members. Zorua and Yusei were paying attention, scared at what the Underworld's top warrior would burn their tails off if they didn't, but Drake wasn't paying attention at all. Amber Leaf stopped talking and glared at the rock star drummer.
"Drake, are you paying attention?" Amber Leaf asked, crossing her arms.
Drake looked up at her with a sad expression before looking down at the table.
"This is a first" Zorua said, "The hyper Drake's not hyper".
"What's wrong, Drake?" Yusei asked, looking at him, "You were pretty down last night. Did something happen at your band meeting last night?".
Drake sighed and looked up at Yusei, "Y-Yes…Repeat…Repeat quit the band last night".
"Repeat quit the band?!" Yusei asked, shocked, "That's horrible! How's the Silver Dragons going to stay together without a lead singer?!".
"I don't know!" Drake said, starting to cry, "J-Justin tried to make him stay because he knew that I was gonna be heartbroken, b-but Repeat left anyways! I don't know what to do. What if the Silver Dragons break up? I'd be heartbroken!".
"I'm going to Al's" Zorua said, standing up.
"I'm gonna check on Annabelle" Amber Leaf muttered.
"Don't worry, Drake" Yusei said as Amber Leaf and Zorua left.
"How can I not worry?!" Drake asked, "I just lost the most important thing that decides what the band does!".
"Well…" Yusei started, "I don't know what to say".
"I got it!" Drake said, picking up his head, "Why don't you be the lead singer?".
"Me? The lead singer?" Yusei asked.
"Yeah" Drake nodded, "You need a band and we need a lead singer!".
"But, I only play pop music" Yusei said, "I know nothing of rock".
"Then why don't we merge the two together?" Drake asked, "You can sing pop lyrics and me and Justin will play rock music. It's BOUND to work!".
"I don't know…" Yusei said, unsure, "I mean, I'm a solo pop star. What will people think of me if I suddenly join up with a rock band?".
"You'll be a rock pop star!" Drake smiled, "What do you say?"
Yusei looked at the rock star drummer and sighed.
"Fine, I'll be the lead singer" He said, "But only until you get a new lead singer".
"Oh thank you, Yusei!" Drake said, happily hugging him.
"Yeah, yeah, save it for Justin" Yusei said, trying to get Drake off him.
