They were barely through the blue doors before he was already talking about where they were going next.

"Hold up. Doctor, weren't we just climbing a cliff to avoid those", Amy waved her hands in a circular motion near her head as she looked for descriptive words, and finding none she said, "blue things".

"Monkeys?", Rory added in an attempt to describe the furry, tusked primates they had just run from.

"Blue things? You mean the Kazazi?", the Doctor asked as he whipped around the console.

"Is that what those monkey things that were trying to kill us were called?", She asked.

"Yeah. Funny thing, Kazazi, they actually start to develop higher brain function in about another two centuries", he said as he pulled a lever.

"Doctor you can't be serious", Rory said as the Doctor landed the TARDIS, before heading straight for the doors, "We just ran for our lives for the 6th time today. I think it is time to call it a night".

Amy yawned an approval.

"Alright. Alright. You two kick off to bed. I'm going to keep going for a while", he said as he opened the doors to reveal a sterile, white corridor.

"Doctor you were up before us", Amy said, "Don't tell me your not tired".

"Not a bit", the Doctor said smiling as he pulled the doors shut.

With that the Ponds retreated to their bedroom and remained there until the next morning.

Little did they know that when the Doctor came into the galley for his morning cuppa he had just returned from another sleepless night full of adventuring.
