The Empress hid her face as the workers took her husbands body away. She wanted no emotions to be seen and betray herself.
"Bring Akita to me at once." The Empress ordered to one of the servants who had started to clean the bed the Emperor had died on.

The boy stood and bowed. "Yes your highness."

The Empress watched as the boy scurried away. The other servants worked about her. She ignored them disinterested.
She looked out the window and gazed over her city. It would soon by her sons. As it should have always been.
That horrible Ryo should have never been heir. He was a cold blooded killer. Calculating and brutal. A beast.
She had already found the eyes Ryo had left for her. Supposedly he had carved them out off her real husbands killers. The drunk maniac.

Maybe he really didn't kill him? It didn't matter now tho. What was done was done. She had blamed him and set things right.
He would have been a tyrant, and would have gotten away with all that he pleased as the Ishida Emperor. Who knows what havoc the murderer would have released...

The only problem now.. He was still at large, the snake.

Akita appeared in the doorway. He bowed when she turned to look at him. "Your highness?"

She motioned him to follow her as she left the bedroom. She wanted to be out of earshot as they spoke.

"Have your men found him yet?"

"No, your highness. We've looked all throughout the palace but have only found a path of deceased guards in his wake."

The Empress processed this information. Of course. The killer strikes again and shows his true colours for all the Empire to see...

"We've begun our search of the city. If anyone is hiding him we'll be sure too-"

The Empress raised her hand cutting him off. He lowered his head silent.

"It will be a fools errand.. But the distraction will keep your men and the people occupied, so they won't notice your disappearance."

"Your highness?" Akita looked at her confused.

"You will go and hunt down the Raza. No doubt my son in laws criminal friends will come to his aid. I want you to infiltrate their ship and make sure my son forgets all I have done this day."

Akita bowed his head. "As you wish Empress... But would you rather not have him executed for his crimes?"

"He believes I would have him killed, as I warned him that much before he left, but I am no fool Akita. He is a warrior with no equal. Even to you.. Any assassin I send would only die, and eventually he'd have enough evidence to convince the Galactic Authorities that he was set up.. However, he would most likely just kill my son and I, rather then deal with the GA. We all know they have no ground in independent manners and his record has already put him as a most wanted criminal."

"Surely we could convict him for all the murders he's committed." Akita replied.

The Empress looked around one last time to reconfirm their was no one ease dropping then continued.

"It would also be a scandal to the Ishida bloodline if he where jailed.. No.. It would be best if we forgot about him, and he forgot about us.. Then he would be harmless to everyone..."

"And if he where to some how be reminded of himself?" Akita asked.

"Then no doubt he'd hear he killed his own Father and believe it."

Akita nodded. "He'd stay away for sure then. Problem solved."

"Then.. You can have this.. arranged?" The Empress asked.

Akita bowed. "Of course, Empress."
