Poseidon sighed and leaned his head back on his throne. Yes, he had gone through the effort of sending a letter that only delivered the message: Brace Yourself. Why? Because Percy needed to. He was a hero and heroes don't get happy endings(very very very few). Because something was going to occur and Poseidon believed Percy was going to be a part of it. He will need to react fast and be ready for the would most likely hit hard and if Percy doesn't keep his stance, he'll fall. Then, it'll be too late. He hoped Percy would understand. Had the god of the Sea not answered when Percy requested? Had he not given him a brother who saved his life multiple times?Poseidon believed he had. He also believed Hermes delivered the package well. So, all was good in the Sea until Poseidon remembered the much work he had to do. He sighed again and stood up lazily. The god enjoyed the feel of the salt water rushing around himself for a moment...then went on with the rest of his day. He was very aware there was something stirring and trying to destroy the gods and take over.
(A/N) I finally wrote a fanfic about something other than the Outsiders.I may update again...because I'm currently reading Percy Jackson and may get a few more ideas. Poseidon doesn't really have many fics with him in it. I think he needs some. I am aware that this is very very short, and is the shortest story I have ever written. Sorry about it. I really am...I couldn't write more because it's all I knew from the third book.
