Ownership: I actually DO own this poem. I made it up myself after I heard some very sad news.
AN: You will see at the end who I dedicated this poem to. Also, you don't need to enjoy this poem since it is a sad one. But thanxs for reading it, though.
The Losing of Something so Dear
You guys decided it is time to do it
But you are a little bit scared
Since you aren't too sure if you're ready and prepared.
However, you still do it
And it goes great
You're hoping with all your heart that it will create.
You missed one
Then you missed two
Looks like something is happening to you.
You go to the doctor
And he tells you the news
What you have wished for has come true.
You go home
To tell your spouse
That in 9 months it will be a full house.
You tell your friends and family
And they are so happy
Since you guys will soon both be a mommy and daddy.
You are so glad
You are filled with glee
That is because you found out you are going to have a girl baby.
Time flew by
1 month became 4
But then trouble started to knock on the door.
Things in of you were going wrong
Making the baby come out too soon
Could this really be true?
You went to the hospital
To straighten everything out
But that didn't work since more problems came about.
Blood was being lost when it shouldn't
Openings being open when they should be closed
And a baby coming out when it still had 5 months to go.
Everything hurts
And you feel so sad
Why is everything going so bad?
You call your mother across the ocean
Seeking comfort and advice
But even that wouldn't make anything right.
The dream you had
Ever since you were small
Doesn't look so great after all.
You soon get the news
That your pain is gone for good
But at a price.
It has left you
And will never see
Day or Night.
You look up at the sky
While tears rolls down your face
Baby, how is it in G-D's place?
I will love you forever
No matter what
You are my heart and soul
And I will miss you so much.
I hope you have fun where you are
And please do watch over me
Even though I wasn't able to become your total mommy.
Just letting you know
That you have an Aunt down here
Who missed you oh so dear.
She wished to have taught you
All that she knew
In order to make you into a proper Jew.
But now you are gone
And she is sad
She knows you would have made her glad.
Even though she will never know you
She will always love you
That is why she made this poem which is dedicated to you.
Live well in heaven
And watch over us
To make sure we do the right stuff.
I hope one day when that day comes
To be able to go up there and see you
To tell you how much I love you.
Rest in Peace my beloved nieces.
