Author's Traditional Note...WITH A TWIST: I... don't even know what this is, to be honest. I guess it's a poem... thing? If it's a poem, it's free verse, and it is ridiculously ambiguous, but then again that is kind of the point. It's all about interpretation. Jane, Jester, Gunther...I know how it fits each member of our glorious love triangle-that's-not-really-a-triangle-but-rather-a-V-shaped-thing-seeing-as-Jester-and-Gunther-aren't-into-each-other. But...well, here's the deal. If you comment, I'm turning it into a bit of a contest.
Say whaaaaaaaaaaat?
Yup. If you bother to read this, I am having a mini-contest thing. I want YOUR opinion; is this poem-thing about Gunther, Jester or Jane? Any answer could be right; what's important is to support your claim! The person with the best claim is clearly the winner, and then has the right to order me to write a fic of their choosing (though you may want to go over my Beta Reader profile for some brief guidelines...) about a pairing (romantic or not) and plot/premise/prompt that is also of their choosing... :)
Anyways, CHEERS. You guys are the BEST.
Bruises
Bruises
One
For every pinch
For every prod
Of childhood mischief
One
For every blow
For every jab
Of skirmish swords
One
For every word
For every glance
Of sharpened tongues
And one
One
For every day
For every night
They are apart
