Chapter 1 : new school

Tris POV:

Beep beep! I wake up to my most annoying alarm. Today is my first day school at Divergent high. I am excited I hope I have a great year." BEATRICE!" Caleb yells I love my brother to death but he can be annoying..."Im Coming! and my name is Tris!" I yell. I get dressed im wearing a grey crop top and jeans. I go downstairs to get breakfeast and I see my mom and Caleb eating. My dad is already gone for work he's the mayor and my mom is a Fashion designer. I grab my toast and give my mom a hug goodbye and go to school in my jeep with Caleb. We get there and i park and head to the office. Suddenly I am walking to the office and bump into a girl she's dark skined and has short hair she's really pretty. I finally say something "Hi im Tris im so sorry" I say

"Hi im Christina and it was my fault for being in a rush. I could tell your new here Welcome to Divergent High can I see your schedule?" she says

"Actually I dont have it yet. Im going to the office now want to come?" I ask

"Sure! I could tell were going to be best friends!" Christina says happily.

Well that was easy making a friend. We head to the office and I go up to front desk and a Women greets me.

"Hi im What can I help you with?" She asks.

"Hi im Beatrice Prior and I need my schedule." I whisper so Christina doesn't know my real name.

"Oh let me just look for you... I found you here's your schedule have a good day!"

"Thanks you too. Bye" ... I walk back to Christina and hand her my schedule. When she reads it she squels.

"WHAT?" I ask

"We have the same classes togther. I told you we were going to be best friends. When we go to lunch I could introduce you to my friends!" she squels

I reply excited too "Yeah for sure. Come on lets head to class."

Once im done reading my schedule I head to Math class with Christina and when we get there the teacher greets me.

"Hi you must be Beatrice Prior Im . Welcome to Divergent High."

"Hi yes I am but I prefer Tris"

"Okay Tris have a seat and lets get class started"

I look around to find a seat and finally I see Christina waving to me to sit beside her so I do. For the past three hours we have been learning geometry but hard geometry. Its kinda easy for me. Then finally the bell rings its now lunchtime. Christina and I head to the cafeteria and she shows me her friends.

"Heyy everyone. We have a new member in our group. This is Tris." Christina says and I wave to everyone.

They all wave back.

" Tris this is Uriah, Marlene, Lynn, Shuana, Zeke and Four" Christina says and everytime she said there names I would look at them finally I reach this boy named Four.. He is so dreamy. He has blue eyes and nice hair. He is very handsome. I want to get to know him.

"Welcome to Divergent high Tris!" Everyone says.

I reply .. "Thank you I am glad to be here".
