This is a tale about the past of Tetris and the Tetronimoes.
They were once people, living things that could move, breathe and feel just like us.
Seven Tetronimoes.
I. J. L. S. Z. O. T.
They made up a team calledd Jils-zot. They were ranked on their possision in the name. The leader J took his team on an epic adventure that, heard by few inspired many:
6:00 AM FRI NOV
J woke up the others and walked outside of their small tent. They had travelled as far as the Saharah Desert on their search for, well only J knew. They travelled by camels most the way and walked far enough. O walked past J towards the oasis. On his way back J tripped on a stray desert rat. They were supposed to travel to the end of the desert and find a villiage by 9:00 PM that night. The rat sneaked into the tent. Then another one. Then another ten. By the time they noticed, the tent was flooded by rats. Jils-zot prepared to fight the only way they could...
TETRIS
A J placed in the corner.
A I set on top.
Aother J placed by the side of the previous one.
Then the rats appeared.
A L squashed a rat sat nicely in the opposite corner.
A O trapped a rat betwen the J's.
A Z fell on to the L.
A Z squashed three of the rats.
A S missed a rat by a pixel.
A I tried to be different and completed a line.
A T finally appeared and finished off the remaining rats.
2:00 PM FRI NOV
Jils-zot had travelled for three hours by this time, and supposing they were on foot got pretty far. They were nearing the end of the desert when they were confronted by a strange machine. It was a wall stretching as far as the eye could see and on the centre was a sliding puzzle consisting of eleven pieces forming a rectangle. A note was imprinted in to the steel reading, 'Complete this puzzle in less than ten moves'. Z stepped forward. He was good at stuff like this. Yet he couldn't get it under ten moves. Everyone tried, except T because he was classed as thick, but no-one could perform this strange feat. J started to walk away when a strange clicking noise was emitted from the wall. T had picked off the tiles and replaced them to complete the puzzle! Jils-zot could continue forward once again!
5:00 PM FRI NOV
Jils-zot stood at the base of a huge wall similar to the previous one. there was a transmitter built in to the door, used to talk to the gate guard. I tapped the base and asked for permission to enter. Rumbling was heard in the distance as a Miptor appeared. What is a Miptor? Think of Pac-Man with a horn...
TETRIS
A Miptor appeared.
A Z was flipped into the middle.
A O appeared on top of it.
A J was smashed by the Miptor and formed a I which was placed by the O.
The Miptor started eating the Tetronimoes.
A L hit the Miptor, weakening it which was followed by a I finishing it.
The gate slowly opened and showed a glorious city. Jils-zot met a family, and asked to stay for a day.
