Chapter 1
DECEMBER
Monday
For Christmas, you should always know when your gonna get the good presents or not. Last year, I had the worst of luck. I mean, Rodrick got the new Game Console
I wanted for the WHOLE year and I was stuck with new skimpy bathing pants.
But I think you can guess what happened to the Game Console. Yep. On ( or should I say in) Rodrick's bed in a million pieces. I was hoping to get a new phone this year, but when I look at the texting bill from his old phone, I don't think I'll have a chance.
Tuesday
I invited Rowley over to talk about the serious stuff that is going on around here.
He came and we went up to my room. We talked about how much attention Manni is getting, what we think we are getting for Christmas, what Rowley's Dad is working on,
how much trouble Rodrick's getting into and on. We went out on our bikes to get some ice cream. It turned out to be a disaster. FIRST Rowley's coke exploded, SECOND he dropped ALL his ice cream on this womans purse. We got kicked out when I had not even finished my ice cream! What kind of a place is that?
We came home and Rowley had to go. I went to the living room and played a round
of twisted Wizards. I finished a few levels and completed a few quests of my new game Swords of Knights. I fed my fish and went to dinner. Mum said I needed to get Rodrick from the Basement. I tried to tell her I wasn't gonna come out alive, but she made me do it anyway. I walked to the Basement door but it was locked. I went to the hook of keys and took the basement key and unlocked the door. I walked in to Rodrick's room, but got the biggest surprise when I walked in.
Rodrick had a Girlfriend!
