"He's asleep." Lilly said in a hushed tone.
"That took a while." James said with a smirk.
"Yes, well at least he's down, could be worse."
She walked over to the stereo and turned the stereo on. A romantic tune filled the living room. James rose from the couch and took Lilly in his arms. They swayed to the tune, happy to be alone without Harry for a little while.
"I love Harry so, but I miss our nights out." Lilly remarked with a slight smile of remembrance.
A cry sounded up stairs just then. "He's awake," James said, "we better go check on him."
Lilly made her way up the stairs with James close behind. They entered his room to find him standing up, crying out large wails.
A breeze brushed James's back.
"What the devil was that?"
"Dear, you must of left the door unlocked. Would you go close it while I put him back to bed?" James nodded and proceeded down stairs.
That's when she heard it. She turned round and saw a flash of light, and her precious, beloved James fell to the floor. It didn't take a minute for Lilly to decipher what had just taken place. He was here, and no lives would be spared. She grabbed Harry and held him tightly; her back turned against the closed door. " I love you Harry, momma and dada both love you . I love you. I love you. I love you" She repeated those words in a hushed tone. Over, and over, as the seconds dragged on, she poured her love, her soul into her one and only child. Her blessed baby boy. The door creaked open and she held him. She prayed, " Please don't take him, I love him, I love him, we love him. Please, please." And in a flash of bright light, she was falling and Harry dropped from her grasp. And the darkness took her.
