The Snap Of My Sanity

Little Rhyme I wrote about Jeff The Killer one day when I was bored. In the story it never specified what he used to burn off his eyelids so this is just a split second theory. Rated T because I'm paranoid.

I drag the blade across my face
Soon to lose my innocent grace
Smiling had started to hurt
My eyelids drip and droop
Grow tired and start to close
We can't have that I thought

We have no lighters in the house
So I creep quiet
Like a mouse
I make my way to the kitchen floor
And pull a box from the bottom drawer
I hurry back to my previous place
So happy I practically skip
And standing there in front of the mirror
I drug the first match across the strip

My eyes are dark and unblinking
A terrifying sight
Enough to give the strongest a terrifying fright
My mother came with shuffling feet
To see my masterpiece complete
She said I was pretty
She said she'd get Daddy
But Mommy called me crazy
My mommy lied to me

I gleefully closed the bedroom door
Where their corpses lay gutted upon the floor
The motions were quick
No trouble at all
Now I make my way silent
Down the dark hall

My brother is asleep
Having sweet dreams
His eyes fluttered open to see me
And he poised his lips to scream
I formed my words carefully
Shh
Go To Sleep

It's done
My family is gone
He's crazy they said
I'm not crazy I think to myself
And standing there quietly
Covered in blood
Filled with sick vanity
I tip my head to the side
And listen
