a/n: ok. I'm sorry! This is my first TNBC story, and I love sally! I really do! But, this seemed to be such an awesome idea…. I'm sorry! Don't hate me for being cliché!
And keep in mind. There will be some serious human like things going on, I know; since Jack is a skeleton he cannot cry. But that doesn't mean he won't. Those kind of things; will be happening.
"Sally! Sally! No, no please darling, don't leave! You can't leave me like this… what happened to now and forever? We were meant to be together!"
"Oh, Jack."
"Sally," jack said holding her hand as she lay, fading away, on her deathbed. "you can't leave." He finished, putting his forehead to her hand.
"One day you'll understand" she whispered.
"Daddy, why is mommy so pale?" Their daughter had just walked in. Oh so sweet, so innocent, so unaware.
Jack rushed to his daughter, and picked her up. "It's ok, baby. Mommy just needs some rest. That's all. Come on, let's go." He began to walk out with Jackie in his arms.
"No Jack, let her stay." Sally said from the bed.
Jack looked back at his dying wife questioningly.
"Yes, I'm sure. Soon I'll be gone, and she'll have questions. She needs to know, Jack."
A pained look came over Jack's face. "Ok." He said simply.
Jack looked at the clock. 2 a.m. then again, this was Halloween town. The fact that everyone should be sleeping didn't mean much here.
"Now darling, mommy's going on a trip. But don't worry; I'll see you again." Sally said with a smile.
'In a time like this; she can smile. Trapped in a pit despair; she manages to comfort our daughter.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw Sally kiss Jackie's head.
"Go with Daddy, sweetheart."
"But mommy! I want to stay and go with you!" Jackie complained.
"I know, but you need to rest."
"Ok, mommy." It was Jackie's turn to kiss Sally. She did so, and walked with Jack to her room.
"OK, so you're gonna go to sleep like a good little girl, right?"
"Yes daddy." Jsckie replied.
"I love you so much, and so does your mama. You know that right?"
"Yes daddy!" She smiled, they embraced in a a warm hug.
'I never thought this would happen. I never thought I could love… I never thought anyone could love me. And now, I'm losing my wife, my true love, to some dreaded disease.' Jack thought. 'The pumpkin king, having a breakdown.'
His knees collapsed at her bedside. His head in his hands, full of sorrow and despair; he began to cry.
"such an awkward way for death to come. I thought.. I thought we couldn't… we couldn't die." Jack mumbled.
"I love you, Jack. Take care of our daughter." The whisper came suddenly.
"NO! NO! Sally no! Sally not yet!"
"No Jack, it's my time. We can't put this off.
This is the real appointment. The one impossible to be late for…" with that, she closed her eyes.
With the memories of their wedding day, brought back to the surface, he began to sob, and to cry heavily. His wife had, to put it simply, died.
"Jack." She had said after they had gotten married. "We did it. We met the appointment." Smiling, he bent down and kissed her. "yes, I suppose we did" he had replied.
The day seemed like yesterday. Life was too short; even if you did "live" in Halloween town.
a/n: it was short. I know. It was weird,, and cliché. And I killed sally. I'm a horrible you can tell me of you hate me in your review. Right?
