Authors note: The word Legunschre is pronounced le-goon-scree

Well, here we go again. Cedric's released this massive monster. We've been fighting it for awhile. It's like a tornado with tentacles. Not pretty. I was trying to lure it to the river, like we'd planned to, when a catapult from goodness-knows-where launched a rock and it smashed into my head. I remember falling tumbling through the air, seeing Irma dive to try and catch me, from so far up I knew she'd never make it, hearing Caleb scream my name, fading into black…

I came to being held in someone's arms. I kept my eyes shut, fearing what I would see. Whoever this was had some fine chest muscles. Big and strong. He held me close and safe, like I was a treasure. I opened one eye a slit. "Caleb, thank goodness. I was worried. Did we defeat the monster? Are the girls okay? Where are we?" Caleb looked down me. "Will! You're okay?" He hugged me even tighter cutting off all air supply. "We were so worried about you, whether or not you'd wake up. The girls got the Legunschre into the river just like you planned. The Oracle brought us to Candaracar to heal you. We've been here an hour or so. I'm so glad you're okay." Suddenly he kissed my lips. He drew back after a second, surprised by the tingle he felt. I stared for a second, as he set me on my feet, and then I knocked him over by the force of my return kiss. My arms wrapped around his neck, while his encircled my waist. We fit together, strong as iron and steel.

I watched as Will fell, dropping like a rock, out of the sky. Irma dove ot stop her, but couldn't get there in time. I ran to where she would fall and caught her. It knocked me over, but it saved her from breaking bones. I held her out of the battle until the monster was defeated. Then a light came from somewhere and made a portal. The Oracle's voice sounded. "Bring her through. Quickly!" We ran through and found our selves in Candracar. His worry showed as he examined Will's head wher ethe rock hit her. "Is she alright?" Taranee asked. The oracle looked up. "She will survive. It's a good thing Caleb stopped her crashing. If the Guardian of the heart should die before passing on the Heart, all would be lost." The girls left to find a bathroom, leaving me with Will. She was so pretty, even with the blood on her face. "Please wake up Will. What are we going to do without you? What I going to do without you?" She stirred and opened her eyes a few minutes later. I don't remember what she said, but I kissed her. I was so worried she would punch me or something, so I set her down quick, but then she kissed me back. I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her tight. I never wanted to let her go, my little jewel.

Far away the Oracle watched them, chuckling to himself. "Those two will last all life." He predicted.
