Caged and never free
To soar and grow

A breeze and its not there
A gentle gust of whispering wind

Unassuming and flexible
On a backdrop of infinite blue

Interpret how you will, because I've contradicted myself too many times to count. Though I will explain the alive and dead line. I was thinking about the oxygen and carbon dioxide there if that makes any sense. And he's regretful because they will all die and become one.
