To Potter,

So you thought you were going to save the world, huh, Potter? You thought that by killing a mad man everything would be just peachy and rainbows would sprout from every corner and all those 'evil' people, thoughts, and places would just disappear.

You are so wrong.

Why? Because here I am, Potter. Haven't you always said I am evil? Didn't you think I was the one killing the mudbloods in second year? Haven't I always been a shoe in for the next Death Eater spot? Aren't I just behind everything?

Let's see. First year it was Quirrel, not Malfoy. Second year, oh look that that, it was your girl friend. Good taste. Third year was your dad's best friend and fourth was an imposter. In fifth year, I recall, it was you being the jerk. I was my regular self, thank you very much. I didn't blow up every five second and nearly get my friends killed.

I've got sixth year, sure. I admit to it, but it took five year before I was actually guilty of something. You are right Potter you have an excellent intuition on these things.

It isn't just me who remains either. You forgot Nott, Pansy, Zabini, and just about everyone dressed in green and silver. You got Crabble, good job, I've still got Goyle.

You seem to be avoiding us lately. No fights whenever I see you like the good old times. I'm hurt.

Did you think that the moment you killed a single man we would turn into little angels? We didn't and we can't. Our wings were ripped off far too long ago for that.

Besides we are Dark not 'evil'. There is a very big difference. Evil is a state of mind you gain after doing some really bad stuff. Dark is a way life you are either born into or are called to. Darkness is what you see in every shadow, under your bed, in the closet. It is the feeling that you get when you are walking alone in the woods at night. It is when you stare at your reflection so long you see a different person.

Darkness has a seed in every person. I think you know that Potter and I think you almost accepted that once. Not now though, because the savior of the wizarding world is a Light wizard through and through. He was Dumbledore's man, a true Gryffindor.

Dumbledore is a brilliant example of a man who tried to escape the Dark. He lived in it once, you know. He wondered down the same path the man you killed danced on and turned back a little too late. Surely, you must have sensed it. After all, it was for the 'Great Good', no?

I love hearing people talk about Gryffindor like he was Merlin. Gryffindor was possibly the only open eyed Light wizard in all of history. I guess you had to be when you are best friends with the old prince Slytherin himself.

I offered you what they had once. Do you remember? That day before we were sorted I told you I could help you. Any Dark wizard can see when the Dark calls to some one and Potter, you had her ringing in your ears. I wish you had taken my hand. You would understand so must more then.

I'm telling you this to try and get through your stupid, thick head a message. It quite clearly means: YOU FAILED!
