Dark Forest Battle Aftermath

The Dark Forest has fallen, and the clan cats rise. Loses where formed, though. Fire saved the clans, once again. But the fire had been destroyed. Now Brambleclaw, is Bramblestar, yes he treads in his father's paw steps, for good only. This is about the leadership of Bramblestar.

Chapter 1: "Borders & Hunting

(Lionblaze's POV)

"All cats old enough to catch their own prey, please join me for a clan meeting", Bramblestar's mew rang throughout the clearing. Lionblaze grunted with frustration, he had been taking a nap after the dawn patrol he was on earlier. The golden tom got up, gave himself a quick lick and padded out into the clearing. He saw his brother, Jayfeather alone outside the medicine den and went to sit next to him."What's Bramblestar up to now", Hollyleaf asked, joining her littermates? "Starclan only knows", Jayfeather mumbled, looking up at his stepfather surveying the clan.

(Bramblestar's POV)

As Bramblestar looked down on his clan he thought about Firestar. He was his mentor, leader and good friend. "Everyone", he said to get his clan's attention! "The Dark Forest has been defeated, but our borders must still be protected. The other clans where our allies yesterday but are our enemies today", he said. "Birchfall, I trust the dawn patrol was good?" The brown tom nodded his head. As if not giving enough information, Cloudtail added in that they ran into Windclan, but just exchanged hellos. Lionblaze remained silent as the three toms passed word about the patrol he was on. "Good", Squirrelflight said. Bramblestar had made the ginger she-cat his deputy after succeeding Firestar. Now she was expecting his kits in a moon. "Who will go on a hunting patrol with Foxleap", Bramblestar asked? Hu, the young mentor of Cherrypaw asks? After being prodded out of what seemed to be a daze by his sister, Icecloud. "I will", Toadstep, Foxleap's nephew said. "Ok, Rosepetal, Cherrypaw, and Molepaw will go with you two", Squirrelflight added. The group of young warriors and apprentices left in the direction of the lake. "Now, Sandstorm, Brakenfur, Leafpool, Bumblestripe, and Dovewing, hunt in the abandoned twoleg nest, the ginger she-cat said. Will a group also patrol Shadowclan's border? We'll go, said Hazeltail, stepping foward with her brother, Mousewhisker. Us also, added Graystripe and Millie. Terrific, go on she said urging the four away. The rest of the clan scattered off doing all different types of things.
