Prologue
The sun's rays hit Legolas like the intense gaze of the enemy. Burning down his neck, and taunting him to face it. The unwavering heat spread throughout his body, making a small trickle of sweat flow down his cheek. It surely didn't help that he was slowly making his way across unknown, un-sheltered territory with a group of his kin to investigate a peculiar phenomenon. What happened, you ask? Well, Legolas had been hunting with Tauriel when a blue light, shining like a star, fell from the heavens. Thranduil had seen the sight as well, and immediately called for Legolas and some of his finest warriors to investigate. Thranduil instructed them to travel slowly, for they have no idea whether friend or foe awaits them. As the group reached the spot where the thing had fallen, a crater stood like a wall, hiding the contents in which it held. Legolas slowly dismounted his horse and slowly crept up the wall and peered over the edge, his hand resting on his bow.
A man lay in the crater, his eyes squeezed shut. The man had pale skin and black hair. He wore a peculiar green outfit, with gold bands around his forearms, his neck, and some other places. Legolas jumped down to the man and touched him with his boot. The man groaned and opened his eyes slowly.
Legolas furrowed his brow. "Who are you?" he asked after a short pause.
The man slowly blinked then responded weakly, "I am Loki... Of Asgard." with that he fell unconscious. Legolas slowly looked over the man. He was weak and needed help, and Legolas was curious about this 'Asgard'. He looked behind him to see Tauriel looking at him expectantly.
"What should we do with him?" she queried.
"We shall bring him back to Thranduil and see what he says about him." Legolas commanded.
