Title: Just like in movies

Disclaimer: The characters are not mine... well, not all of them... and so isn't Prince of Tennis

Pairings: Hinted Tachibana-cest (though it could be seen as strong siblings love).

3 a.m.

The door bell rang, waking up both Tachibanas. Ann turned around pushing her brother's shoulder with her forehead.

"You go!" She said sleepy.

"No, you go..." Though already knowing who would win the argument, he insisted. "I spent the while day training." To that statement Ann couldn't help but pout.

"But bro... I'm a defenseless girl... what if it is a raper?"

"Ringing the bell?" But he was already getting up, it could be someone dangerous after all. He almost dragged himself down the stairs, so sleepy he was, dresses in nothing but tight black boxers.

When he got to the door he noticed two things. One, the bell hadn't rung again and Two, a very expensive imported car was parked outside. Thanking his inner self for not allowing Ann to go in his place he opened the door , quite abruptly, but the moment he looked the car was already gone.

Kippei looked ahead and saw no one... but heard the faint sound of tissue rustling.

"Oh shit..." He took his time looking down. He'd seen far too many movies not to know what was about to come. A very low complaint made him focus back to reality... and he finally faced the floor.

What he saw next was absolutely heartbreaking. There was a baby alright... a very pretty one at that. The sweetest light eyes and the most adorable soft-looking hair, light brown it seamed. The child's white skin almost shone against the pearl-colored silk sheet which surrounded it. It was laying in what looked like a very expensive sort of crib... amazingly white and with beige roses carved in it.

The older Tachibana reached down and held the object with the child inside still asleep and put it on the kitchen table. From the bedroom Ann shouted.

"Kippei-ni? Who was it?"

"Hush!" He almost pleaded, praying she didn't wake up the little one.

Half unconscious he held the baby in his arms, resting its head against his hard warm, naked, chest , while hearing his sister getting up from bed. A little card fell on the table. Still confused he held it with his free hand and read aloud so Ann could listen too.

I do not regret what I did, I love MY offspring... but his life would be endangered if I was to keep him.

A .K .

Together with the small letter came a thin gold neck-chain and medical records. Kippei massaged his forehead with the hand which held the letter, then looked at the little boy in his arms. 'No parents... no name... alone...'

Out of ideas, trying not to panic, he looked at Ann, hoping she would give him a solution. The infant woke up and kicked Kippei's chest lightly.

"We keep him." Her voice sounded shaky... After all, if not by the handwriting or the initials In the letter, at least by the boy's face, both of them knew perfectly well who the father was and if HE couldn't raise the child something was wrong, very wrong. They couldn't just take the child to the police, and the proper documents were all there... For the time being, that seamed to be the better choice.
