My first real story I finished..I don't think it's that good though...

Kohaku Uchiha is one of my RPC Characters

The boy, he sat there on his bed, all dressed in black

The boy, he sat there on his bed, all dressed in black. He seemed more upset than usual as he turned the pages of an old photo album. Maybe it was because it was his mother's three year death anniversary. He closes the photo album, stood up, grabbed his ninja headband, and tied it around his forehead. He was on his way to the memorial stone.

Three Years Earlier

It seemed like a normal evening. The young boy was following his mother around the house. His brother just came back from a mission and was visiting his mother and 10 year old brother. The 10 year old was the same boy from before. His name is Kohaku "Come on Kohaku, I think it's time you should go to bed." Kohaku nodded in agreement as he marched off into the only bedroom in the house. His mother walked in as he climbed into the large bed lying on the floor. She tucked him in and kissed his forehead.

"I love you Mommy..." Kohaku said as he drifted off into his sleep, not knowing that this may be the last time he said that to his mom.

"I love you too." She replied with a smile as she walked out of the room. Kohaku soon fell asleep.

A few hours later, Kohaku woke up to a crash from the other room. Kohaku felt worried, so he got up and walked into the living room where he saw a tall man in a black cloak with red clouds. He was holding a sword in his right hand. Kohaku recognized the man, but sadly he didn't know where from. The man was facing Kohaku's mother, he noticed the young boy and looked straight at him. Kohaku shivered in fear. He knew something bad was about to happen as the man's eyes turned red. His mother jumped towards him, facing hom, blocking his vision on the man. "Run Kohaku ...run! Whatever you do don't look at his eyes!" screamed his mother referring to the man.

"..No…no…" Kohaku disagreed; he didn't want to run away.

"ICHIRO!" his mother screamed for Kohaku's older brother as Ichiro ran into the room.

"Kairi! Are you going to wait this long?!" the man said to his mother. Kohaku was shaking.

"Take him…" his mother, Kairi, implied to Ichiro. Ichiro nodded and picked up his younger brother.

"MOM!" Kohaku screamed at the top of his lungs as his brother practically dragged him out of the room. Tears were running down both his and his mother's face. "Everything will be okay…" Kairi said to herself.

Ichiro ran into the closet in the bedroom with his brother. He sat down, placing Kohaku on his lap. Kohaku struggled to get away, but Ichiro was holding him down. Kohaku heard the screaming and crashes. "MOM!" he screamed again.

Kairi knew just what the man wanted. He wanted her son, Kohaku to use as a tool. She wouldn't let that happen… even if it meant losing her own life.

Hours passed of yelling and crashing when Kohaku finally escaped from his brother's grasp. He ran towards the living room, where his mother once was. The noises had recently stopped. He thought everything was going to be alright. They were not. There was his mother, lying on the ground, covered in blood. Tears came down his face, one after another. "…Mom..." Kohaku said. She slowly moved her head towards him.

"Kohaku..." She said quietly

"What? He replied. "Come here..." Kohaku kneeled down. "You know I love you…" Kairi coughs up blood. "right?"

"Of course I do…"Kohaku replied.

"You be a good boy…alright?" Kairi said softly as her eyes began to close. Kohaku stared at Kairi, unsure of what just happened.

"She's gone isn't she?" said Kohaku, speaking to his older brother behind him. Ichiro stayed silent. Reality started to settle in. She was gone…
