The day was usual,like it always was. Garfield was hanging on the tree,Odie was missing,Nermal was visiting,and Jon was sipping coffee. Suddenly,there was a loud knock at the door. It was a cat. He said,"Hi,my name is Biff,Garfield's high school classmate. Have you seen this crystal?" Jon read the paper. It said,"Cat's Crystal Missing. Please Return When Found To Avocado Museum." Jon stared at it. "I..I don't know about this." Jon said. "Maybe you should ask Garfield over there." Nermal said to Biff. "Hmm,maybe I should." Biff replied. Biff went to Garfield and pulled him down. "Why thank you….Biff? Is that you?"Garfield asked Biff. "Yeah,Garfield. Have you lost your memory?"Biff replied. "Oh,I haven't. What's that paper for?" Garfield asked. "I work at a museum,and I'll be fired if I don't find this crystal."Biff replied. "Wow,that's exciting…and sad." Garfield commented. "So,do you want to help me?" said Biff. Garfield laughed and said,"Of course I do. I'm not feeling lazy today." "That's kinda not like you,Garfield."Biff replied. "All right,let's get in Jon's car and look for the crystal."Garfield said. "Who's going to drive?"Biff asked Garfield. "Jon himself."Garfield answered. "Jon! Odie! Meow!"Garfield shouted. "What,Garfield?"Jon asked. "Jon,drive me and the new one to Kareeno Cave."Garfield answered. "OK,Garfield."Jon said. They proceeded on to Kareeno Cave. As Garfield,Odie,and Nermal went into the cave,Bill stayed with Jon as he was turning on the flashlight. Garfield felt a piece of goop on his foot. It was gum! "Oh boy,not another piece of gum."Garfield sighed and took it off. "Hey,there's something in this gum!"Garfield exclaimed as he pulled out a crystal. Biff ran to him and said,"That looks like the Cat's Crystal,but it isn't. We should keep it." "Ok,we'll keep it."Garfield said as he dropped the crystal into a metal box Nermal was holding. Jon,Odie,Garfield and the others walked down the cave. "I wonder if there's any more crystals here."said Nermal. The flashlight flickered,then blew out. "Uh-oh. No more flashlight."Jon said. Odie woofed,then picked up a big stick. "Oh,thank you,Odie."Jon said as he took the stick. Nermal took out a match that he found in the cave. Jon took it,then made a fire. "There we go."he said. Garfield heard mysterious chanting coming from the center of the cave. "Somebody's here,"he said. "Tiptoe to the center of the cave." One blink…..….and they were in the center of the cave,held together by ropes,except for Garfield and Biff. "Tell us of your being here."the mysterious thing said. "Well,tell us your name,and then we'll tell our story."Garfield and Biff shouted. "I am Shaman Cat."the mysterious thing said. "We're looking for the Cat's Crystal to return to the museum that Biff works at."Garfield and Biff said. "The Cat's Crystal shall stay where it is!"Shaman Cat shouted,then sent a powerful pulse wave at the pair. Garfield was able to stand ground,but Biff slammed into the cave wall. "AHHH!"Biff screamed as he slammed into the wall. "How dare you hurt him!" Garfield said to Shaman Cat. He dashed to Shaman Cat. Shaman Cat made a force field. Garfield bounced off of it. Shaman Cat mumbled a spell. Garfield fell down on the rocky floor,rubbing his head. He blinked,then Shaman Cat carried him to a mirror. "What…happened?"Garfield asked as he looked into the mirror. He was dressed in a orange vest,a red t-shirt with ringed sleeves,and a white shirt. "Garfield,it didn't get only you,it got us!"Nermal shouted as he,now a female,looked at her wrists and hair. Nermal's hair was gray in an odango style. She wore a blue sailor suit with a white collar,cuffs,bow,and waistline all with red stripes. Her eyes were dark gray.
