"Farvande. Faaaarvaaaandeee. Ariel Farvande. Mrs. Farvande. Princess Farvande."
Ariel was in her and Eric's new master bedroom, alone and daydreaming to herself. As she sat in front of the vanity, brushing her long, straight red locks with a dinglehopper, she hummed to herself and said her new name in the mirror, over and over again.
The excitement of the wedding and celebration had finally ceased. Now, a few days after the ceremony and reception, the arrival of presents from other royals and cleaning of the banquet hall had finally ceased. Now, Ariel had to get adjusted to the regular, everyday life of being a Princess of Denmark.
Eric's last name even sounded royal. Now that it was her name, too, Ariel had to get herself used to it. She had always called herself "Daughter of Triton." Now, she could be called "Wife of Farvande."
Hopefully, with this new name and title, Ariel could be a great princess and wife, and, one day, queen
