Feelings, emotions, personalities – they are everywhere. Similar ones, different ones, even mixed in between. There are eyes of many colors, black, white, green, hazel, purple, scarlet, all the rest. They turn dark as coal when in anger and sadness and in happiness, the color brightens even more. When one stares in the mirror, they see what their eyes look like, but they may be too terrified to say what they do look like in the end.

Yami, the Pharaoh, has amethyst eyes. Dark, shining and a sea awaiting the storm, he reflects of what they are. He doesn't like his eyes, as they remind him of what a protective person he is and what a demon he can become with the smoldering fire glowing beautifully in them.

Serenity Wheeler has hazel eyes – warm as honey and reflecting the goodness within her, the goodness of life. Yami loved Serenity's eyes. Bright, vibrant with a hint of shyness, she was everything he wanted in the color. Hazel was calming, with her gaze meeting his relaxing every tense muscle in him, allowing him to be just as he really is.

Alas, one day everything changes. When the cruel gods raise tyranny against the race of humankind they were trying to protect and the darkness creeps inside the souls of innocent humans, nothing is ever the same. The amethyst eyes turned as red as blood when the lust for power continues to take over the Pharaoh's entire being. This frightened Serenity, her hazel tears flowing with tears of horror and sorrow for the loss of her king.

He was lost from her, pulled away from the reality he belonged, pulled away from the light within him and Serenity, and as lifeblood continued to flow into rivers, his eyes were crimson, the amethyst jewels darkened by his wicked deeds. Serenity became hurt after his dark turn, as the blood of innocents colored his once beautiful purple eyes. He wasn't her king anymore. No, he was a demon of his own creation.

She couldn't take the pain of losing him – she still loves him, but she doesn't know when he would come back. She doesn't know when the lovely heliotrope jewels will return. When a battle raged on, she got in the way, upon seeing Yami, the dark Pharaoh, and she was then stained with the color of his eyes – crimson red.

The color of amethyst returned upon seeing her hazel eyes, but unfortunately, it is too late. She was dead, and the Pharaoh fell to his knees, black tears snaking down his face against his will. Then he too was bloodstained, the color he was forced to bear in wickedness and hatred. He too is dead, all because of what eyes have become of him. The purple and hazel eyes are no more, replaced with black tears and crimson blood.
