Authors Notes: Haven't written anything in a long, long time. I decided to try a couple of drabbles and see how it goes.
What was normally a bright and cheerful day on the Hellmouth was unfortunately dark and dismal. The Scooby gang, survivors of untold danger and multiple Apocalypses was gathered today to say good bye to one of it's members.
"But, but he was always there for me." Buffy cried as she huged Willow. "Whenever I had a hard patrol was just feeling down he was there with a hug."
"I know Buffy," Willow tried to keep her tears from spilling forth as she supported the weeping slayer. "He was there for me too, even when I went dark and Tara wouldn't talk to me he always had a smile for me."
"Come now Buffy, he wouldn't want to see you so upset. Willow why don't you take her inside." Giles was clearly uncomfortable with public displays of emotions but there was a hint of a tear in his eyes.
"Giles are you crying?" Dawn asked as she watched Willow lead Buffy into the house.
"A spot of dirt in my eye, come now how about a spot of tea. Maybe that will calm Buffy down." Giles could see that Dawn had been effected much like her sister but was putting on a brave face.
The two of them turned away from the grave marker but not before Dawn took one last look.
