Ariel bit her lip as she stared into the mirror, trying to adjust her tiara properly. Though she didn't usually want to wear it, tonight it was a necessity. The delegates of a kingdom wishing to ally with Ariel and Eric's kingdom were coming to a dinner tonight. Just two men, Ariel, and Eric.

Finally, the tiara looked alright, snug into her bright red hair perfectly. Ariel exhaled and adjusted her dress, making sure it fell smoothly over her bulge of a belly. Suddenly, she heard Grimsby's voice call to her, "Your Majesty, the delegates have arrived. Eric is waiting for you!"

"I'll be down in a minute!" she called back, quickly grabbing her seashell earrings and heading for the door as she tried to put them on. All of a sudden, she saw a sparkly green speck fly in front of her. The former mermaid gasped a bit, until she realized it was Tinkerbell. She turned in the direction seeing the little fairy sitting on one of the conch's on the nightstand, tapping her tiny foot angrily.

"UGH!" The little fairy yelled, flying up to Ariel's face. "I can't STAND them anymore! Those stupid mermaids keep making fun of me! Just because I can't get my WINGS wet! I told them 'Well, YOU can't walk!' and they grabbed me and tried to push me UNDERWATER! They make me SO MAD!" Think flew in circles around Ariel's head, making the former mermaid a bit dizzy.

"Tink, Tink, Tinkerbell!" Ariel made Tinkerbell stop flying, speaking gently. "Deep breath. They aren't worth getting mad about. You know that." She paused, waiting until she got a response from Tinkerbell. Finally, the green fairy took a deep breath, settling down on Ariel's shoulder quietly.

"Hey," the redhead said softly, putting her hand to her shoulder so Tinkerbell could walk on. Holding her hand out in front of her, she continued, "How about you come to me to this dinner I'm going to? I mean, no one can see you, but it'll be like a princess dinner." She smiled.

Tinkerbell immediately lit up. "Yes yes yes!" she said happily, fluttering up to rest by Ariel's collarbone. "I'll be quiet, promise," she whispered. Ariel giggled and walked to the door, keeping her tiny friend hidden as she went to meet Eric and the delegates.
