Naruto's Lion
Summary: Naruto's hijinks during school take an interesting turn when he shows up with a lion from Konoha Zoo.
"Alright class. Today we're going to cover the 3 basic Ninjutsu you will be required to Master before graduation. These are the Substitution, the Clone, and the Transformation Jutsu...What is everyone staring at?" Iruka Umino looked to the door of the classroom to where he saw Naruto Uzumaki sitting on the back of a fully grown male lion.
"Hi everyone. This is Mortacai. He's my lion. I have a lion now." Naruto grinned.
Mortacai roared.
"Naruto. Where did you get this lion?" Iruka asked. Afraid of the answer.
"He escaped from the Zoo and came right up to me and started nuzzling me." Naruto grinned as he pet the mane. "He's like a kitten with me."
Another roar.
"Does he bite?" Ino asked nervously
"Course he bites. He's a lion." Naruto said dully.
A third roar.
"Naruto...you can't keep this lion." Iruka said with a sweat drop. "He has to go back to the Zoo."
"No!" Naruto said. He clicked his tongue like one would when riding a horse and Mortacai turned and ran.
Eventually Mortacai was returned to the Zoo. Naruto visits him every week.
