This is my first fanfiction story in a while.
Prologue
A deserted house in the mountain,
About three hours on foot
From the world summit place.
No one knows how long it has been there,
Or who lived in it.
Rumor had it, that it was haunted.
? POV
I was running as fast I could while having coughing fits, since I was struggling to catch my breath. The loud thumps of my pursuer's foot sets rang out behind me, but I dare not look back. I was the only of my friends left; they all fell one by one while we tried to escape. The last to fall was my friend Feliciano or Italy as others called him. Now it's just me a weak, defenseless human girl all alone. Tears started to fall down my cheeks as I pushed myself forward. I had the key to the front door and a small red book clutched in my hands. The closer I got to my escape the more frantically my pursuer chased me as I tried to gain some distance.
"Come on just a little bit further and I'll be free," I muttered to myself.
Finally I reached the door. I frantically unlocked the door before bolting outside heading for the safety just passed the iron fence. The moment I got passed that fence the monster stopped and just stared at me. Instead of continuing to flee like I should have I spun around the face the monster.
"Hey you! Take me back I know you can! I mean you failed to catch a weak, defenseless girl. Take me back and try to get me first next time! Now take me back!" I screamed at the monster as tears poured from my eyes.
Suddenly the book I clutched glowed as the monster stared me down. I opened the book to see my name printed at the bottom with red ink before passing out.
Nobody's POV
In the same mansion at some other point in time a mochi that had a strange resemblance to America bounced through the mansion frantically trying to escape from something. It tried to get out the front door with the best of its ability, but the poor little mochi just could not open the door on its own. Suddenly a menacing shadow loomed over the terrified mochi as the mochi released a cry of pure terror.
