Michelle swung her legs as she waited for her friend to arrive. Living on a island for most of her live, she's learn to love what you have. Moving to the US has been difficult for her, but her past home taught her many things. Like dare to always challenge your peers. Or to love your parents. Only she didn't have parents, they died before she became two years of age. But now in the US, Michelle lived as an adopted daughter of Francis Bonnefoy and adopted sister of Matthew Williams Bonnefoy. She never understood why he had two surnames, but she never bothered asked.

Michelle sat on a bench under some oakwood trees. She thought about the rain that occasionally fell on her. Oh how she regretted not bringing an umbrella. Soon a flash of light covered the sky. Seeing lightning struck the ground was always a blast. It reminded her of a DC superhero called the Flash.

Soon hands covered her eyes. The former islander tried to pry them off, only to fail, twice. She signed and began to ask who these hands belonged too. "Mei?" She questioned. Luckily, that was the correct answer as the two hands released her sight to show a smiling Asian girl.

"How did you know it was me?" The still smiling girl asked. Her eyes were filled with excitement, as if she didn't know it was raining right on them.

Michelle looked at her friend in disbelief, "Who else do I know that does that?" The two girls got in a comfortable silence, the pitter patter of rain filled the void of no sound.

Mei playfully rolled her eyes and sat next to Michelle. She put her head on the crook of Michelle's neck. "We're totally going to get sick, you know," Mei noted. Michelle laid her head on Mei's own.

"I know," Michelle answered.

Mei thought for a second, "I think we should leave if we don't want to get sick though."

Michelle paused to look over to her friend, "Do you want to get sick?"

"I don't mind getting sick as long as you're sick," Mei looked at Michelle. She noticed how Michele had a blue jacket on and some black jeans. Mei compared the blue jacket to her red jacket.

Michelle smiled at Mei, Mei smiled back,"Then let's get sick together."
