Another original Jay-Jay story written by Samantha613, this time it's "Snuffy's Fear" Enjoy and comment.

It was a sunny morning at Tarrytown Airport, and everyone was really excited. Today was the day Big Jake had promised to go on a camping trip in Tarrytown Woods.
They had everything they needed, and so they took off for Tarrytown Woods, but Snuffy was scared. He told his four friends he was nervous about the night happening.
"Guys. I'm scared of the nighttime and all the things in the dark. I'm afraid of what could happen.", Snuffy said.
"It'll be okay, Snuffy.", Jay-Jay said. "The night will be kind of like the daytime, only really darker."
"That's right, Snuffy.",Herky replied.
But Snuffy was still a bit nervous.

They soon arrived at Tarrytown Woods.
"Let's look for a wide open space to set up camp.", Big Jake said.
So they all did, and Snuffy found a perfect place: near in a big sun-lit area.
"Hey, everyone. I think I found one.", announced Snuffy.
Everyone agreed, and started getting things prepared.
Once they are settled, they needed to find firewood, so they spreaded out to look for some.
Soon, Big Jake found some firewood.
"Hey everyone. I found firewood. Let's help each other build camp.", he said.
So everyone pitched in to help out. Once all that was done, it was starting to get dark and Snuffy was starting to get really scared, but he didn't want to admit anymore to his friends that he was scared.
"I'm still afraid.", he thought.

Once everyone had yummy marshmallows and sang campfire songs, Big Jake said it was time to sleep for the night.
"Alright. Everyone, bedtime.", Big Jake said to everyone.
Everyone agreed, and one by one, they all soon were asleep - all except for one, Snuffy.
Snuffy was still scared of the dark, so he taxied to Herky, who was fast asleep. Snuffy whispered to him to wake up, but Herky didn't listen, so Snuffy tried to bump him gently, but he didn't stir. He was too busy dreaming of all the beautiful nature around him. Snuffy then gave up and tried to fall asleep, but he couldn't.
Then, Jay-Jay came over.

"Snuffy? Why are you awake?", Jay-Jay asked.
"I'm scared of the dark", Snuffy explained.

Jay-Jay laughed
"There's nothing to be afraid of Snuffy.", Jay-Jay told Snuffy.

"Why?" asked Snuffy.
"Look up at the stars, they look like Christmas lights.", Jay-Jay told him because Herky told them earlier that they look like little Christmas lights.
Snuffy looked at the stars and smiled.
"Remember that time when Tracy told us that the moon was like a big night light?", Jay-Jay asked.
"I actually do.", Snuffy said.
Snuffy tells Jay-Jay that now that he knows the stars are like Christmas lights and the moon was like a big night-light.
"Jay-Jay, I think I'm over my fear of the dark.", Snuffy said while smiling.
Jay-Jay was very pleased with himself that he had helped Snuffy get over his fear of the dark.
