Everyone stared, Elphaba was used to it. Well, at least she was used to people staring at HER, but nobody had ever really stared at THEM. Neither of them, nor Shiz could believe what Glinda had just done. It had been only a few weeks ago that she two girls thought they hated each other, and yet just a split second ago Glinda had kissed Elphaba with a deep and fiery passion…in front of all of Shiz. The students had been silent for some time and then the sudden roar of voices came flooding back to the school, no doubt they were talking about what had just occurred between Glinda and Elphie. The two lovers stared at each other for a moment in silence, until Glinda spoke…well screamed, actually, loud enough for all of Shiz to hear.
"I love Elphaba Thropp! I love her!" she turned to her lover "I love you Elphie"
"I know" said Elphie, smiling a smile that made Glinda's heart melt, then again everything about her beautiful Elphie made Glinda's heart melt. "I love you too Glinda…did you all hear that? I love Glinda Upland!"
And it was true, they loved each other more than anything or anyone else. Nothing else mattered.
