Rapunzel was always lonely. She looked out her window and sighed. "I wonder what the outside world is like…" She rolled her eyes at herself, she needed someone to talk to. "I'm thirteen; I should have a friend by now!" She left her window and went back to her sewing.

The little chameleon ran hastily away from the large snake that was chasing him. He blended into the grass, then quickly changed to the color to the tree he was climbing up. 'This isn't a normal tree…' he thought confused. He kept climbing. He soon realized it wasn't a tree, it was a bunch of rocks piled together. He kept climbing to ensure his safety. He finally got to the top and went inside the unfamiliar structure.

Rapunzel heard an odd noise. "What was that?" She turned around to look. "Hmm…I don't see anything." She went back to her sewing. The chameleon came closer to her. He watched her sewing, and opened his mouth. He had never seen anything like this before. Rapunzel turned towards him, this time, he didn't bother blending into his surroundings. "Who are you?" she said with a smile. She picked him up, he changed color. She giggled, "You're cute! Would you mind staying here with me? I've always wanted a friend." He nodded, quickly, he wanted protection. She smiled, "Good…you need a name…" He changed into all different colors. "Hmmm…Rainbow? No, that's too girly…Pascal!" He nodded in approval. Rapunzel smiled, "It's very nice to meet you, Pascal."

That night, Rapunzel looked out her window, then turned to Pascal, "Last night I made a wish on a star…I wished I'd make a friend…I didn't know stars worked so quickly." He turned bright pink, "Aw, don't blush, Pascal! You're a very special wish come true!"
