Author's Notes: So I was asked by a friend of mine for a story involving Reno, Rude, guns and some sort of celebration. And apparently my inner Reno has a gun fetish. Who woulda known?

Anniversary

There weren't many places in the whole of Shin-Ra that Reno wasn't allowed to go. There was Rufus's bedroom, Tseng's bedroom, the subbasements… and the Turk Armory. The former three were obvious, as Reno WAS prone to pranks and the like. The latter… That was a safety measure for the whole of the company. You see, Reno was the kind of person you called 'trigger happy'. In fact, the few times the youth HAD been allowed into the Armory he had practically drowned in his own drool.

It was because of this that Rude was in there now. The older Turk was allowed in and out of the armory as he pleased, mainly because he avoided using weaponry and materia. The only time he did, of course, was with his standard issue firearm, his bombs, and weaponry Tseng deemed needed for a mission. Were it not for Reno the man would probably never even look into the armory or acknowledge it's existence. That was just the way things worked for Rude.

Today, though, Rude had made up his mind. The place was perfect, it really was. And that was why he had Reno with him, eyes covered with a blindfold. Here, amid the guns and materia and bombs, Rude had prepared for their night. A blanket was laid out with a delivered gourmet meal, candles, and a small box. It was their anniversary and Rude had been planning this for weeks. This was, for Reno, the most romantic place possible, so Rude had made sure Tseng agreed to the arrangement. Of course Rude had been forced to clear out the level above and below this one, just in case Reno got TOO excited from the sheer firepower… But all in all Rude was very sure it was going to be a good night.

Then again, maybe he could only tell because the second he had removed Reno's blindfold the red-head had looked around, taken in the sights, and pounced on Rude with the most furiously hungry kiss Rude had ever had in his life. Damn, it'd be hard to outdo this anniversary next year…
