Wandering

XxXxXx

Through the thickets of the woods and the overlapping greenery that separates between them, Yuki sees Sora smiling encouragingly in the other side. There was a vast distance between them; she was unreachable but even though their was an impervious barrier between them, they could still see and hear each other talk.

One day, when both of their feet were tapping against the pavement in the same motion as each other's, Sora asks simply if Yuki could walk in the same road as her. Yuki was a bit taken aback by the inquiry but shakes her head, smiles softly, and replies, "It's pointless."

Yuki looks down and notices the same bruises dirtying her body.

"I'll only be a hindrance. You should continue on with your journey."

Sora chuckles softly and says that she has faith in her anyways and, it was at that moment when Sora smiled brightly at her and told her that she could make it even with her own frail body, everything was forgotten. Yuki didn't know what happened, but through the pain that constantly seeps through her body everyday, she laughs for the first time ever since she ended up in this road.

Yuki grins softly. She never refused it.

"I believe in you too. Please keep moving forward."

She always knew that Sora was oblivious and she just yelped a simple, "Yeah!"

And then she took off.

But before Yuki sees her leaving from her view, she yells happily, "Thank you, Yuki!"

And then, as if evaporating, she vanished.

Yuki smiles sadly. She didn't know why she disappeared like that, but even though she can't stay by her side and even though she can't walk in the same path as her, at least she gave her her power in return.

And that was enough to make her happy.
