Evil
Watching the world from the inside was like staring through fogged glass at times; some moments had been clearer than others and it was then she had been able to memorize faces and names - it made interacting with the people she cared for that much more interesting.
However, finally free from the darkness of her host's mind, she found the outside world to be far too bright, even on a cloudy day; and it irritated her. The humans were loud and the sounds caused her dark bringer to twitch. She gazed down at them from her perch on the roof and her crimson eyes narrowed; they scuttled past one another like busy ants but lacked the discipline of them, they weaved in and out of each other, bumped into each other and some were just overly rude.
Why did her lighter half want to protect such creatures? They were no better than demons in some ways; they had the pure essence of humans, but deep down they were no better than her. No better than a demon.
Her lighter half destroyed demons.
A wicked smile spread across her face and she pushed herself off the edge of the roof, landing in the middle of the throng in a crouch; the humans stopped with their mouths agape and she raised her human hand to Red Queen. She whipped it off her back and swung it smoothly while rising to her feet, cleaving several unsuspecting watchers in half; blood flew through the air, decorating the ones who weren't in the blades path and she wiped a drop of the crimson liquid from her own cheek then licked it off the soft red of her bringer.
A pause. Then they panicked, pushing and shoving and tripping over each other. She chuckled; already excited at the thought of a massacre.
She revved the hulking sword into exceed and threw it in one direction before pulling Blue Rose from her holster and shooting in the other; she planted a light kiss on the weapon before slipping it back into place and catching Red Queen, twirling it in her hand like it weighed nothing.
She had an extra spring in her step and she placed the sword on her back and followed the trail of bodies Blue Rose had made, humming a made up tune as she inhaled the sweet smell of blood. There was movement in the corner of her eye and quick as a flash Blue Rose hit her target again, a middle aged man; she'd purposefully aimed for his leg and slowly approached, enjoying the look of fear in his eyes.
"Who…who are you? What are you?" he asked shakily as he pressed himself against a building.
A head tilt. Wasn't it more common for darker halves to use the name of their host backwards? Her nose crinkled at that thought; it would be an odd name, didn't have a nice ring to it either. She took a brief moment to think - it wasn't like the sniveling man would be going anywhere - and a tight smile pulled at her lips.
"Risho."
She pulled the trigger.
