PLEASE READ IMPORTANT!

Hello! I know quite a few people have done these sort of fics before, but I'm starting to get back into writing after an almost year-long hiatus (thanks, college). Anyway, I'm new to writing for the Young Justice fandom, but I am no stranger to reading it and have loved the show since it first came out in 2010.

Below is a list of prompts. Some of these I have come up with myself (they're italicized), some I've seen other places or are inspired by fics that I've read. Some could be made into one-shots, while others would require multi-chapter fics. Most of these are YJ-centric, as this is my favorite rendition of most of the characters, but many can be also moved to the main comic-verse.

Please feel free to write off any of these! I just ask that you let me know if you do. Both so I can read it myself and also so that I can put it here as an author's note. Alternatively, if any of these are something you'd be really interested in seeing written, just say so and I'll do my best to comply.

This chapter is mainly about Robin/Batfam-centric prompts, specifically Dick Grayson. He's my favorite superhero of all time, so my mind automatically goes to him when I think of stuff to write.

One-Shots

1) 5 times Robin hinted at his identity to the team, and the one time he flat-out told them. Meanwhile, Wally looks like he's about to have a heart attack, thinking that Batman is going to kill his best friend (the trolling was actually approved by Bruce as a test of the team's deductive skills. They fail miserably).

2) The team discovers they can't do anything that conventional friends can in terms of a friendly competition. Wally ruins races, Artemis corn hole, Kaldur swimming, and so on. They don't even attempt hide-and-seek.

3) The team dresses up as their mentors for Halloween (though there isn't much change for Miss Martian). Dick perfects the Batvoice (TM). Connor changes his hair so people don't realize JUST how much he looks like Superman. The League isn't sure how they feel about this. Bruce can barely keep it together.

4) The team is given a tour of the Watchtower. Robin may or may not already be familiar with it (I may or may not have a habit of putting Dick on a pedestal where secretly he's the only reason the Justice League computer system is as advanced as it is). Wally may or may not accidentally screw something up.

5) The team likes to watch celebrity gossip. This includes Gotham stations that like to focus on a certain mathlete. It gets super awkward for Robin. Wally suddenly finds himself understanding the saying "ignorance is bliss" and prays Batman won't kill him. Meanwhile, Bruce laughs at the look on his son's face.

Multi-Chapter

1) React to YouTube fic. Yes, I know, reaction fics are a trope some people could do without. But I for some reason love them. I do actually plan on doing this fic, I even have a private playlist on YouTube of videos that could be used. It includes reviews of the series, song tributes, and explanations of their main comic canon counterparts. If you do this fic, hit me up for suggestions. This could take place multiple places, including but not limited to: New Years Day after Auld Acquaintance, end of Fireworks, the 5-year time skip, or right after season 2. This is the one I want to do the most.

2) Dick Grayson is given a Lantern ring. In the comics, he's been offered positions in both the Green Lanterns (will) and the Star Sapphires (love). I personally think he's best suited for the Blue Lanterns (hope), but just pick one and roll with it. Any time period.

3) The team decides to switch mentors for a day. This results in general shenanigans. Batman terrifies whoever he's given because Robin is the only one immune to him (and Batman knows it). Robin meanwhile chastises Superman over his treatment of Superboy, regardless of which mentor he's with. Whoever gets Superboy joins in on berating Superman (after Connor is given some task to keep him distracted).

4) After the events of Season 2, the team is still mad at Nightwing, which as a result causes Barbara and Tim to resign from the team. Dick ends up hiding out in Gotham, which as everyone knows has an embargo against other superheroes. Then the team comes across a villain that outsmarts them at every step. They realize they need the Batfamily, the tacticians of the superhero community. But how does the Batfam react to their request for help? And who is the 10-year-old claiming to be the son of Batman?

5) The team patrols each others' cites (Gotham, Central, Metropolis, Star). Each chapter is one night, with Gotham being the last. Everyone notices that Robin is quick to adapt. They realize why when there's an Arkham break-out, resulting in the team being shut in the Batcave watching CCTV and live news reports.

Could Be Either

1) The Flying Graysons time travel to the future. This could be from when Dick is Robin all the way to when Damian is. Basically, they see what kind of life Dick has without him and it gets their approval, which would obviously affect Dick, who has questioned whether or not his family would be happy with the way he lives his life. Whether or not Dick or even the Batfam are aware the Graysons are there is up to you.

2) Dick is Damian's biological father. I'm not entirely sure myself as to how that would work, but hey. It's fan fiction, don't question it.

3) The Waynes are forced into filming a reality tv show. Somehow they can't get out of the situation without looking suspicious. Shenanigans ensues. Basically, some people (Dick, Steph) revel in the attention. Some (Bruce, Barbara) just want it over with. And some (Jason) just want to screw with everyone. Alfred is just waiting for things to explode and CPS to show up.

4) Possibly interconnected one-shots of the team in the future. The Dick/Barbara or Wally/Artemis wedding. The crazy shenanigans that is Wayne Manner. The team's kids forming their own team. The team's legacies (Jason, Tim, Damian, Bart, Jon). Stuff like that.

5) Dick Grayson shows off his superpower of making friends with everyone.
