Interruption:

The show was called "May I Have A Word," and there were three nervous contestants. Well, Phil was the nervous one anyway. Emily looked competent, and so did Tommy.

"Okey everyone!" Beau Handsome announced. "Welcome to-

"MAY I HAVE A WORD?" The audience finished.

"Our three contestants will have a chance to win prizes. Ready to play..."

"MAY I HAVE A WORD?" The audience finished.

"Yep!" Emily said.

"Uh huh!" Tommy said.

Phil looked really nervous. Would he get the answer wrong? Get to answer at all? "I, um, I guess so."

"Great! Now all of you, the word is 'interrupted.' To give you a clue, here are some clips from Wordgirl that show the meaning of the-"

CRASH!

Suddenly, just as the tv screen was about to show Glen walking in the middle of a Wordgirl-Two Brains battle, a girl dressed in red suddenly crashed into the wall. Everyone turned to Wordgirl. Was she okey? What was she doing here?

Well, Tommy knew what he was going to do. He walked off stage and said "Hey Wordgirl, I'm Tommy. I write the most awesome fan comics ever! And I think-"

"EEK! EEK!" Captain Huggyface rushed to Wordgirl. His monkey-talk meant "Are you okey?" in English.

"Huggy? What are you doing here? I was battling one of Tobey's robots when-" Wordgirl suddenly noticed the audience. "Where am I anyway? Is this some sort of a gameshow?"

Beau Handsome answered her. "Actually, this is 'May I Have A Word?' And you just interrupted the show!"

BING!

"Yes, Emily?"

"Interrupted means to stop something that was happening. Like when Wordgirl 'interrupted' this gameshow, like you said."

"Right you are Emily! Huggy, show Emily what she's won!"

Captain Huggyface walked over to the stage and revealed the prize. This time, it was a years supply of ice cream.

"OOOOH!" The audience stared in awe.

"Wow! That's awesome!" Emily jumped up and down, really happy that she won such an awesome surprise.

"I didn't know there was a gameshow here in Fair City! Except for that Orlando Smooth guy, and he's just annoying."

"EEK! EEK!" Captain Huggyface pointed to Tobey's robot, which was knocking over more buildings.

"Whoops, gotta go!" Wordgirl zoomed off in a flash.

"Well, um." Beau Handsome looked awkward. "Okey, um, that's all for today! See you next time on-"

"MAY I HAVE A WORD!"
