A/N: Yay! Another fanfiction! I should be working on my other on right now, but I REALLY wanted to write this! So this is basically a story where Marinette is in place of Lara-Jean from "To All The Boys I've Loved Before". Mari might seem a bit out of character, and I'm sorry.
Things you need to know:
- This is my first first-person story! It might be bad, I know!
- I'm surprised I've never came across another story like this.
- If you haven't watched or read "To All The Boys I've Loved before," don't sweat it. You'll still get the fanfiction.
- The characters might seem out of character, I'll try my best to avoid that but I somehow doubt I can.
- DO NOT WORRY! This is NOT a Lukanette fanfic!
MARINETTE'S P.O.V:
"Luka!" I ran towards him in slow motion, running gracefully through the soft grass. He brushed his blue bangs out of his eyes, and softly smiled at me, his arms spreading to invite me in. I went into the hug, as he looked into my bluebell eyes.
"I love you Mar-"
"Marinette! School!"
I ran a hand through my hair. Why did Alya have to interrupt my amazing daydream. Couldn't she have waited a few more seconds?
Frustrated, I made a loose ponytail and grabbed my backpack, tucking the box of letters under my bed, and hiding it under a few pieces of clothes. Hopefully mom and dad wouldn't find it there. I met Alya down and we left for school, just for another boring day.
Here's the thing. I like keeping useless things. Wristbands from old amusement parks. Stickers from clothes. Old ribbons from presents.
But the most useless thing are my love letters.
Of course, everyone has a crush. It might be a small one, or a huge one, just depends. But with my luck? I have 5. 5, freaking, crushes. And guess what that means? Yup, 5 love letters.
Now, you may think I'm crazy, but writing these letters reminds me of how powerful emotions can be. I write these letters so deep as if they'll never read them. Which, well, they won't.
Romance is fun, but not in real life. Reality sucks. Guess what I write in my letters? Their eyes, their hair, their smile, their dimples, and well, everything. Man, if those letters got in their hands, I'd be screwed.
I should probably explain who got them.
Well first, Nathaniel Kurtzberg. He's pretty cute. I mean, we danced for a bit, he's an artist, a pretty good pair, wouldn't you say?
Second, Adrien. Adrien Agreste. The teen model you ask? Yeah, that's the one. You might think it's just a celebrity crush, but trust me, he's SO nice! I mean, we almost kissed like, twice, and he's fell on top of me like, 308284 times. The only problem is that he's with my ex-best friend, Chloe Bourgeois. Mhm, the mayor's daughter. He's a pretty nice boy, but he'll probably be spoiled by that little brat.
Third, Nino Lahiffe. Nino is like, my first guy best friend. He's been with me for like, forever. He even admitted he had a crush on me! But I rejected him, because well, I didn't have feelings for him back then. I don't really now either, and my best friend Alya is dating him. But there's no harm in writing a love letter, right?
Fourth, Chat Noir. Yes I know he's my partner in crime, but I'll never admit I like him! Never! But y'know, a lady can't resist some charm once in a while. Even if that charm is dumb cat puns.
Lastly, Luka Couffaine. Omg, how do I even begin to explain Luka? He's perfect, in every way possible. Even better than Adrien. I'm going to be perfectly honest here, Luka was the foundation of all my crushes. He one the first one I fell for, and we were even closer since he was my friend, Juleka's, brother. The rest of my crushes were made out of hopes and fantasy. But that doesn't mean I don't mind being with the them.
But I can't be with them. Romance is too scary. I'd rather stay in my room, plop up a good old fashioned romance novel, have my letters beside me (preferably with a bowl of snacks), and chill for the rest of my life.
Little did I know my life was going to go upside down right under my nose.
A/N: So? What did you guys think? Please, and I mean please leave a review in the box below. I want to know what you guys think, and how I can improve my work.
