Well. Look what we have here. Deadpool in Remnant. While this isn't exactly new, I thought it'd be fun to do something like this. Deadpool is perhaps my favorite Marvel character, and RWBY is a show that I picked up and just so happened to have had the cogs in my head turning. And now, here we are, with what I hope is a rather successful story of how Deadpool can fit into literally anything. So enough of me, here's your actual story

Remnant. Quiet and peaceful. In one of the many kingdoms, named Vale, sat upon a cliff a great school called Beacon Academy, supposedly for the great watchtower that had a green glass glow that emminated during the night. A 'beacon' in the night.

It was daytime outside, approximately noon. Students gathered around the entrance of Beacon, with droves of more pouring from the airships on landing pads. Many held their weapons—combinations of various melee and firearms—with them. This was one of the combats schools; this was the final test. The last stop to becoming Huntsmen and Huntresses, fighters of the dark and depraved soulless entities known as Grimm. Many were excited. Though none were more than a small girl, with a long red cape and hood. She looked around with a joyous sparkle in her eyes, as she watched the many weapons the students held. With a giddy voice, she gushed over each weapon she saw. "Sis, that kid had a collapsible staff!" Another student passed "And she's got a fire sword!" The small little Red slowly glides towards the student, only to be pulled back by the hood by who was referred to as her sister. A blonde girl, with hair down past her shoulders that is painstakingly well-done. "Easy there little sister. They're just weapons"

The little red retorted back "Just weapons? They're an extension of ourselves! A part of us!" She gushed again, bringing her hands to her chest "They're so cool"

Blonde replied "Why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?" Almost immediately, the sound of clicking and unclasping of metal resonated into the local air. "Of course I'm happy with Crescent Rose. I just like seeing new ones. It's like meeting people, but better". After her spiel, Red's sister grabbed the front of Red's hood and pulled it down over her face "Ruby, come on. Why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?". Ruby swings her hood back over her head and off. "But why would I need friends when I have you?" She looks up to her sister, who finds herself surrounded by others. "Well...actually, my friends are here. Kay, c'ya bye!" Soon, she was out of sight with a large group heading down towards the academy grounds. Ruby looked around, dizzy. "Wait, where are you going? Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? Do we have dorms?" Lost and dizzy, she falls back into a pile of cases pushed precariously on a cart. "I don't know what I'm doing…"

A little above the entrance, a few feet in the air, a bright flash appears and disappears as instantly as it appeared. A distinct "BLAMF" is heard as we see our hero, the great Merc with a Mouth, the Regenerating Degenerate, Ninja Spider-Man himself! "Hey buddy, we get it! While I like you praising me to the readers, don't you think we should get moving?" Oh, right! "Also, you suck at typing"

Deadpool himself had teleported above the campus grounds of Beacon. The teleportation belt, itself, was crackling and emitting small tufts of smoke. "Hey Author, I can't feel the ground. Care to explain why?" A white textbox appears besides Deadpool's head, text being displayed with a gruff and deep voice (Maybe because you aren't standing on ground). The red-and-black spandex wearing anti-hero looks down, wiggling his toes as he feels the emptiness of air he couldn't but currently is standing on.

"Ohohohoho...this is gonna hurt". Almost immediately from uttering his words, the Merc with a Mouth began to fall straight down. Down into the academy floor.

With a 'crash' and a sick 'snap', Deadpool had landed into the concrete ground. A crowd of students began to gather around, to get a glance of the mysterious masked man who fell from the sky. Surely, anyone normal, even with their aura, couldn't survive a fall like this. Lucky for our dear friend Wade, he was anything but normal. Wade picked himself up from the oddly Deadpool-shaped indenture on the campus ground. Patting himself down and dusting off, he looks around at the student audience, murmuring about how he could survive such a fall.

"Could it be his semblance?"

"You call that a semblance!? What kind of semblance would that be?!"

Deadpool simply shrugged his shoulders. "Well buddy, I think we should just leave this place. Wherever the hell we are" (That sounds like a good idea). With the click of the belt buckle, with the logo bearing his likeness, the teleporter fires up. There is a crackling sound, followed by a large explosion that sends Deadpool up and over the student crowd. Landing on his back, he groans in pain. "Curses! Foiled again!" He utters and gets back up. (What do you think would have caused this?) "How the hell am I supposed to know Madcap? Capcom should really remove the 'third teleport' mechanics shit though. It gets really annoying after 2 seconds" .

From the perspective of the students around, they neared witness a strange man, too old to be a student, suddenly fall from the sky onto the ground, leave a crater in the shape of himself, suddenly explode, sending him up and landing back down onto the ground again, and seemingly get up without a scratch while a white comic textbox appears besides him, showing the monologue that both of them share. They can't even begin to wrap their heads around such craziness. The man wore a red and black spandex suit with a utility belt, a harness with two swords sheathed on the back, two machine pistols holster on his hips and a few the face, he had a red mask with large white ovals that move and squint, as if they were his true eyes. Overall, not your typical encounter here in Vale, or even on Remnant! The only strangeness around are the Faunus, and even then they're a common thing since the very beginning!

Deadpool looks around, scanning his surroundings. "Aren't these kids wielding weapons?" (Aren't you a mentally disturbed world-class assassin?) "Ok, fine, you got me there Madcap. But aren't kids supposed to be in school?" (Looks like a school to me) "So...what, these kids are learning to wield weapons or some shit? Not sure how I'm supposed to feel about this?" Deadpool and Madcap continue their conversation, with students looking from afar with a look of absolute bewilderment. Amongst these onlookers is a very important brunette with a large bow sitting atop her head and nestled into her hair.

Meanwhile, Ruby has gotten herself a scolding by none other than Weiss Schnee, the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. With a few mean words being throw around, mostly by the Ice Queen herself, a certain brunette from earlier enters the fray. She calls out Weiss Schnee and her father's company, a dust mining company with the "largest production of energy propellant", and for "having controversial labor forces and questionable business partners.". "Wha—how dare—the nerve of…" With a scoff of frustration, Weiss swipes the bottle of dust in the brunette's hands, a red dull powder, and storms off. Ruby raises her hand as if to reach out to Weiss. "I promise I'll make it up to you!", she exclaimed. She sighs, looking down with a small sad look. "I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day. So what's—", as Ruby looks up to try and make small talk with the other person, she turns to find said person walking away. As the frown on her face widens, she collapses on her knees and falls onto the ground. "Welcome to Beacon…"

"Real good friends you have there, Red Riding Hood". As Ruby looks up at the sky, a masked face appears over her. Large white ovals greet her eyes. "They aren't my friends. I don't have any here at Beacon. Or any, for that matter…". The girl spoke in a voice higher than all the other students. She's also small, so perhaps she was younger than most other students here. "I was 'bout to say, you got some real shit friends." The masked man looks up and stares at where Weiss and the other girl walked off. "So, what's your name lil'Red?" He extends a hand out to her, who takes it and is helped to her feet. "Ruby. Ruby Rose. Are you here to attend Beacon Academy? You seem a little too old to be a student". (She just called you old) a white textbox appears besides the Merc with the Mouth's head, displaying the message in a Serif font. This, to Ruby's surprise, seems to act independent from the man himself, and both startled and confused her. "Madcap, you're scaring the kid. Can you, like, fuck off already?"

"What was that?" Ruby asks with a quizzical look. "It sounded like someone else.". Deadpool looks back at Ruby, "That's my good friend Madcap. Y'see, normally he's just a voice in my head, but now it seems like people can see him. Kinda." He explains. "He's a friend, a brother, a family, and a real pain in the ass" he says lovingly, remembering the good times only to realize there are none at all.

"So, what's your name?" Ruby asked since she never caught the name of the Regenerating Degenerate. "Oh, the names Deadpool! World-class assassin and charming lady-killer!". As he speaks, he begins to pose and flex to Ruby, much to her amusement as evident by a few stray giggles as she covers her mouth with her hand. He, indeed, looked ridiculous.

"Hey Author whose name references stupid doctors that didn't do shit to help people, I don't look ridiculous! I look fucking fantastic!" Deadpool yells at the sky, supposedly towards me. How swell. "Yeah, fuck you too buddy boy!" Ruby looks towards the masked mercenary with a puzzled look. "Wait, who are you yell at?". Deadpool looks down to the caped huntress-in-training. "I'm yelling at the dumb-as-shit author who can't type and has a stupid pseudonym". Ruby looks even more confused. Deadpool crosses his arms, while Madcap chimes in (Don't worry, he does this all the time). Ruby shrugs it off, as Deadpool himself is just a crazy character all together. So far, it's been one surprise after another. "Hey. Can I see underneath the mask?" Ruby asks a tad nervously, as she's become curious of why Deadpool would wear his mask all the time.

Deadpool looks down to Ruby, "Sorry Red, but the mask stays on. You don't want to see what's underneath." (You really don't). Ruby only lets out an "oh" of acknowledgement. "Well, we should head inside.". She only received a nod from him as they begin to head inside. Ruby and Deadpool walk along side by side. "Oh, and also, I LOVE your outfit. Red and black go so well together!" Deadpool exclaims in a very feminine way, like a stereotypical male fashion designer. It brought a smile to Ruby's face, so the compliment managed to work. (Deadpool, watch what you say before the police are called) "Madcap, you're acting as if I don't have standards." (You don't) "Buddy, even I have standards!"

A/N: Soooooooooooo, this has been the first time I made a fanfic after a few years. And I mean years. The account is dead to me, and probably will never resurface as I've made some cringy shit. But, besides that point, leave a review or some criticism. Maybe a few notes and pointers could help as well. Thanks a lot for putting up with my rusty god-awful writing
