On May 26th a gentle person was born, she would be given a little brother but lose her parents, she would raise her little brother. She would soon meet people who would forever change her life in the form of a man that would take her brother under his wing, that silly Gorilla. Eventually she would meet a man that would change her life, a man she would fall in love with and be rejected by, a man who felt undeserving of her. This woman would sacrifice her health and marriage for her younger brother, only for them to leave Edo to form the Shinsengumi, she would wait for that man but took care of her health for her brother's sake. Time would pass where she was supposed to get married but things went awry, the man was a criminal who tried to use her connection to her brother for his own gain, her brother hated her love but ran to his aid as Hijikata fought for them both without a word to them. Hijikata and Okita both dealt him justice but in the end, Mitsuba's life would come to an end with Sougo by her side, both Sougo and Hijikata shed tears for her after her passing but she lives on in her beloved brother, her beloved man and her loved ones' hearts forever.
