is debeo versor tempus ad pereo

Adrenaline and ecstasy are coursing through his brain.

Blood is harsh and boiling, thundering inside his veins.

Calm hits him so suddenly as he flings into the air.

Death is just the next adventure, so why should he care?

Even in one moment, his life runs before his eyes.

From the start until the end, his memories have him hypnotized.

Great times with happy faces fly forth throughout his mind.

Hope for seeing them again is something he will never find.

In just a single second, his life is there, then gone.

Just watching it makes him realize that sometimes, he was wrong.

Keening, sad and mournful, reaches the back of his mind.

Life is but a distant dream, something he had to find.

Maybe he shouldn't cling to life- because that is what he's doing.

No, he should leave unnoticed while the chaos is ensuing.

Oh, the things he's done on earth, the places that he's been!

Pain sears his heart as he figures he can't come back again.

Quickly, his soul flies away, for he can't stay too long.

Really, lingering as he has been is borderline being wrong.

Swift and silent, he runs from the ones who mourn his death.

Till you join me, he sadly thinks, circling over those with breath.

Underneath his tough exterior, he had a soft spot for few.

Very rare though it may have been, his kindness was true.

With a heavy, bitter heart, he remembers he can't stay.

Xenophobia leaves his spirit as he turns and flies away.

Yes, let it be known it happened, because all is done and said.

Zero more will come to his life, for Rikash Moonsword is dead.

Okay, I read Realm of the Gods, got to Rikash's death, and had this idea. I adjusted a little to fit the TPE November challenge, which is sort of "alphabet order," for lack of a better way to say that. I know a lot (particularly the last line) is a little... stilted, but I think it's all right. The title is Latin for "It must be time to die." I thought it sounded cooler in Latin than English. But please, call it "Tempus ad pereo," or "Time to die." Uh... I need to work on some various other stuff, now, so... yeah. Review, pretty extra please! Bye!
