I really find this pair cute, not sure as to why, but I do. So tada, I made a fanfic bout them. Yay!

Taking a swing of her beer, her eyes shot daggers at the bluenette whom was checking the job request board. She turned away once the raven haired male went to try and woo the bluenette. Of course, he was shot down rather quickly by her, how cold of her.

Lucy shrugged the whole thing off, it was like any other day. Gray trying to confess his undying love for Juvia, and getting brushed away like an unwanted fly. Yet, Lucy couldn't just shrug it off, underneath it all, she felt a slight ache.

Another swing to subdue what every was aching, that didn't help. If she had to drown herself in barrels of alcohol in order for what ever the ache was to numb away, well then, so be it. Setting her glass down, she hollered for Mira and requested another drink.

The cheerful barmaid walked off taking Lucy's mug along with her. Lucy turned slightly, catching Gray once again trying to earn Juvia's love. "Pathetic..." she grumbled lowly, mostly to herself.

"Why don't you tell him?" A small, shakey voice asked from behind her.

Turning around, her narrowed as she stared at the salmon haired male beside her. "Tell who what, Natsu?" The blonde simply stated as she folded her arms across her busty chest.

Natsu looked down, "Well ya know..." He messed with his fingers. Then glancing up at her narrowed brown eyes, he stated quietly, "Bout you liking Gray."

Her chocolate eyes grew wide at the sudden proclaim that her best friens made. She looked away with a distasteful look, "Pffftt as if, he is way too clingy, and too hung up on Juvia for my taste."

Natsu was not as dense as his counterpart. Ever since their counterparts came along, he saw envy in his best friend's eyes at the closeness between her counterpart and Gray's. He also noticed her stealing glances at the raven haired male, along with glares towards Juvia.

"I know you like him," he mumbled softly, almost scared to admit the truth.

Lucy glared at him briefly before turning away, "Stop stuttering nonsense."

Natsu instantly noticed a splash of pink on her cheeks. It was amusing actually. He then sighed, "Denial is a bad thing, you know?"

Lucy rolled her eyes, "Whatever." Then she hopped down from her stool and sighed, she shot him another glare before walking out. She made sure to sock Levy before leaving the guild completely.

"Me like Gray, that's a laugh." Lucy chuckled to herself. "How stupid are you, Natsu?" She stretched her arms out a bit before placing her hands behind her head.

But she knew, deep down it hurt. To see him chasing after someone who wouldn't even give him the day of time. To bluntly put her feelings out there in her own way, couldn't he see it?

She didn't torture him as badly as everyone else. It was obvious, wasn't it? Natsu could see it, he saw her staring at him, shooting daggers at Juvia. Why couldn't he see it?

It hurt. It burned. It stung. It tore. It sizzled. It twisted. It turned. It bleed. It broke. It...

...was painful.

It made her feel like crap, as if she wasn't worth anything. Maybe she wasn't. He only cowered in fear around her, but fawned over Juvia. He distanced himself from her, but always tried to get closer to Juvia. He was always trying to get Juvia's love, but unknowingly caught the heart of another, whom held the name Lucy Ashley.

No matter how she put it, he would always be blinded by his emotions for Juvia. His unknown love towards the blue haired beauty. No matter which way you sliced it, Lucy would always give some kind of hint, but Gray would always be oblivious.

I know...it isn't all too great, but all well. Review :) and if you want, I'll turn it to an actual story.
