I own nothing but a love for Gabby!

The early morning sunlight streamed through the window, causing Abby to snuggle deeper into Gibbs arms. It had been a busy week and they were both grateful to have a few days off. They had plans for later in the day but for now they were both content to stay in bed wrapped up in each other.

"Happy birthday," Gibbs whispered. He retrieved a small box from the drawer of his nightstand. He kissed her as he placed it in her hand and then lay back to watch her open her gift.

Wasting no time she tore into the paper and opened the box. Inside was a small antique solid gold heart pendant. Her breath caught when she noticed the inscription.

"Jack gave it to my mom when she was pregnant with me. I can't remember ever seeing her without it. It's my turn to give it to you." He looked at her, his blue eyes full of love. "You are my heart Abby, you always will be."

Her eyes filled with tears of joy. It seemed that she cried over everything these days. But these tears were because of a happiness she had never dreamed she would experience. Her black hair fell around her shoulders as she leaned forward to kiss him.

"I will wear it until the time comes to give it to our son. One day he will give it to the woman that he loves," she smiled.

He reached out and traced the soft skin of her cheek with calloused fingers. He still found it hard to believe that he could be so blessed. "How is it that I never say the words but you know how I feel?"

She gave him a soft smile. "Words aren't always needed with emotions that strong. You tell me every time you look at me, every time you touch me, every time you make love to me."

His eyes search hers, finding nothing but truth and love. "My feelings for you are stronger than I ever thought I was capable of. You have helped me close the door on the past. You have chased away the nightmares and filled my life with more joy than I ever imagined." His lips met hers in a brief but gentle kiss. He placed the palm of his hand against her protruding abdomen and felt a gentle kick. "I love you with everything I am," he said quietly. "I will love you beyond my last breath, Abby."

She pulled him close planting loving kisses all over his face before finding his mouth. Their lips met in a kiss that was fueled by love and full of promise. Needed air she sat back slightly and gazed at his smiling face. Just when she thought her heart couldn't get any fuller. Leroy Jethro Gibbs tells her he loves her.
