Forgotten Dreams

Himuro Haruhiko doesn't understand the zealousness sweeping through the country. He doesn't understand the childish delight on the children's faces; the dawning hope that had begun to pierce through the daily humdrum of life.
And, he wonders: when had leaps of faith become calculated gambles?
When had he forgotten how to dream?
But, as he looks into Kuramochi Takeshi's eyes, he can't help but be transfixed by that indefinable glimmer of light; can't help the way his heart races as the professor's passionate voice thrums through his veins.
And, he thinks that maybe he hasn't forgotten how to dream after all.
