Abby jumped around gleefully as she began to open the package sitting on her desk. Agent G Callen of the NCIS Office of Special Projects had sent her a package for her birthday and she couldn't wait to see what it was! Abby was a little worried that she had weirded him out when she sent him that pineapple but seeing as he had sent her a birthday gift she figured that all was well in the land of OSP. She opened the box and lifted the lid. She promptly burst out laughing.
Tony came out of the elevator holding the vase of black roses that he had gotten for Abby's birthday. He walked into the lab to find her staring into a box, laughing so hard her pigtails were flying.
"What's that Abs?" He asked, looking over her shoulder, puzzled beyond belief.
"It's a topiary bush." She said, carefully lifting it out of the box.
"Who's it from?" Tony raised his eyebrow.
Abby grinned at him but before she could respond, Gibbs came in and walked over to her.
"I take it Callen liked the thank you gift you got him." he said, kissing her on the cheek. Tony was really confused now.
"What did you send Callen?" he asked, looking at Abby.
"A pineapple." She replied, as if it were a normal thing to send someone.
"Well that explains why the topiary is pineapple-shaped..." Tony mused.
