A/N: My very first try at Sweeney and Lovett. Enjoy!
That taste. I longed for it.
Was it too bold to say? Of course it was.
She had a small trickle of blood that was neatly placed in the corner of her lips. And I found myself drawn to it. I wanted her. I knew I did by that familiar feeling that could either be called my friend or my foe. I cursed myself for my foolish thoughts. Me? Kissing Mrs. Lovett? Blasphemy, that's what it was.
I turned to keep myself from looking at her any further. The only way it seemed to rid myself of the feeling was to direct anger at her. Though I hated to see her breath so shaken and those blessed lips quiver with sadness, I maintained a frown and kept that look of disgust in my eyes.
Her voice calls out to me, and it takes everything in me not to turn around. To either strike her, or hold her in my arms. I could never seem to make up my mind about it; whether to love her or hate her. But Sweeney Todd does not love, no he kills.
It was getting harder and harder to believe that story. He pondered if he could keep up this act. He felt ready to move on, however this sickness liked to laugh and shackle him to the pain. She was the only one that was looking for the key; to release him from this ill fate.
He has tried and tried again to become happy, yet without success. What was it like to be happy?
She called to him again, and he turned obediently. Although he decided that the walls were much more interesting than her. She spoke to him anyway, in a soft voice. She was afraid of him; he's known this for some time now. However she likes to had that little bit of information. But he also knows he could never bring himself to cut that beautiful pale skin.
She tries to make her leave but he grabs her. Now he can see her fear for her life. This tempts him, and he pins her to the wall, that now really was interesting with her plastered against it. She drops her head in a submissive manner. "Look at me" he demands.
Her eyes flicker up to meet his. The darkness of them yet is able to pierce through whatever wall he had put up. That blood was still there. Sweeney Todd takes a moment to grasp his decision, and goes through with it. He kisses just that spot, just that lovely little spot in the corner of her mouth. The metallic taste coats his tongue and he tilts his head to hers. He becomes angered when she does not respond to his kiss. And he presses into her forcefully. Why does she do this to him? Make everything so difficult?
Caught off guard she opens her mouth and gives him complete entrance. He takes it and swings her up into his arms. Her hands run through his hair continuing the kiss.
No it wasn't blasphemy. It was love.
Sweeney Todd can no longer feel that pain that had filled his heart. All he can feel is Mrs. Eleanor Lovett in his arms.
